Very helpful, Grant - THANKS! It is SO AMAZING that jump cuts are linked in certain ways according to the subject and the intent. Real estate and architecture are one way as you point out, and things like action movies are entirely different. Examples might be (this is for anyone's "trivia file"), in the American movie "The Untouchables" with Kevin Costner in the lead role, had something over a hundred cuts in the railway station scene, and the Hichcock Psycho shower scene, about 90! No way to market a home! Thanks again for all your valuable insights.

You're absolutely right and its funny the more you take notice the more you notice them. Sometimes I feel you have to take a step back or you will miss the content and be too focused on the craft! Cheers

The jump cut while talking to camera seems ubiquitous on KZbin - practically a jump cut at the end of every sentence. I suspect it is intentionally jarring to maintain the viewers' attention. I loved the way you cut the hero shot at the end. Will be using that technique to make full use of my better shots. Very clever Grant - thank you for a very practical tip.

Thanks, I think you are absolutely right about using jump cuts on talking heads to hold the viewers attention. Cheers
