@xhelixshotx7 жыл бұрын
Jdietz43 These tutorials should've been in the game. Why market a game heavily to newbs and casuals but not make a beginner tutorial mode? Heck this game doesn't even properly introduce you to screw attacks, only those super small tooltips that barely anyone looks to at all. Newb friendly mechanics aren't what make a game newb accessible; but a tutorial mode that explains the mechanics thorougly. TTT2 was a very advanced game but it was more accessible to newbs in my opinion due to its Fight Lab mode that explains bounds, tag assaults, punishing, highs mids and lows.

this, the game is utterly impenetrable to someone new without a ton of research, and tbh a full game released this day and age should really do a half decent job at explaining itself tekken is wonderful because of how complex it is, how about the game actually tried to introduce itself so more people would get into it

bastiisalive every character has a move where they can take hits WHILE continuing with the move. So for example Bryan fury has armour (flash of white) on his mach punch. if he gets hit with a couple of punches or kicks while his mach punch is happening, then Bryan will lose health but his mach punch will still happen. So getting grabbed while performing an armour move, example mach punch, you will not be able to escape from the grab. if that makes sense

@NeoRidero7 жыл бұрын
every character has a move that has armor properties, which as their names suggest gives you armor for the duration of the move. Armor will pass through mids and highs (you WILL take damage, but not be staggered, meaning your attack WILL come out no matter how much you get hit), but are broken by throws and lows.

@Supersonic5 жыл бұрын
I didn't know tekken throw chains were like this. in DoA they are harder to escape because you can't mash, and if you break on the same frame as the attacker continues, attacker gets advantage. But with that said attacker also can't mash to continue throw chains. so if you know your opponent's timing and they don't, you'll basically break 100% of the time.
