So for some fun I figured lets make a video showcasing some of the classic secrets and fun little details you may not know about Tekken 8! Tekken is a franchise with many mysteries, thankfully many of those finally getting some clarity in Tekken 8 being like, actually documented for once in the game, but other things? Well, thats why we have this video!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, BUT either it was coincidence or you can get into a slap battle with Reina and Bryan. I'm not sure the actual" move because I am fairly new to the game, I've found myself caught in a back and forth with Bryan on 3 occasions ... So maybe she's just too powerful for a regular slap, do she needs Bryan. Again, sorry for not being able to provide more info or verification, but I THINK it may be possible

Honestly actually a little flustered making this video. So many things I was gonna put in here? Gone. Robots absorbing devil lasers? Jack flying on a ground break? Paul countering Kings frankensteiner into a powerbomb? Those and so so many more are gone unfortunately. I can only hope this means there's many more new secrets to be discovered in time however, but it sucks to lose a lot of the old stuff. At least almost every old hidden move is actually documented in the movelists now so thats a good thing

In case you make a part 2 I've been playing Reina and she has a kick that is unlisted (probably an oversight and not a "secret"); I think it's forward neutral 3 and if you press down when doing her taunt she'll do Heihachi's taunt.

@@AVJHalonen Fusenkyaku is listed in Reina's move list, you just press 3 during wind step (which is activated by forward neutral; not to be confused with wind god step).

This applies to Tekken 7, but one detail I loved was that Geese' wall jump had a unique animation that was a reference to his "plane change" attack in the old Fatal Fury games. I guess Reina feels like a slap fight is too girly for her.

I went pretty hard on SF6 and i use Tekken to just relax and try stuff out. All the different mechanics are so much fun even if you dont try to win (or maybe especially then). And i learned a lot about both games from this channel!

Honestly I don't think anyone would mind paying 5 or 10 bucks for the whole compilation of tekken kids you've made so far. If you decided to charge I wouldn't be mad! Keep up the great work. The wall jump is actually way more than a funny gimmick. I did it by accident once and you can actually dodge a lot of moves with it. Also some characters like Steve can get a full combo from it.

Oh very interesting, there was a couple of things I was unaware of (The slap wars and the headbutt thing with heihachi, and blocking Jack's throw). Only nitpick I have is, I was interested in knowing which secrets Tekken used to have that were not carried over into Tekken 8. Not sure if it's a substantial enough topic to make another video for, but if it is, I would be interested to check that out.

A bit of a buff for jack: in tekken 7, uf1+2 punch was -17 or sth on block, so it used to launch punish that punch when you're in front of the wall. It seems like that's no longer possible.

Does this game still allow you to pick a win pose by holding a button post match? In Tekken 7, you could basically choose your win pose because they were assigned to one of your 4 attack buttons.

They took away the "hit analysis" feature in where the character shows up highlighted or grayed out depending on whether you can do an input or not. That option sort of gave you a clue if there could be any hidden input you could do.

better lol, the overheating was temporary, I left the PC off for like 10 hours after and just sorta fixed itself. The only other time that happened was during the MK1 choose a main cause the capture session was like 8 consecutive hours, and its got the 4090 directly above it pouring heat on it.

For instance, * Wall jump moves (i tried back back back-up back but it only allows to jump , how about hitting the opponent?) * Using specific items (how do you shoot the opponent? - up 1 + 4 allows to shoot towards air. ) , how to use different moves with naginata? * Slapping (i know the slap move of Nina but how does the opponent react in the same way, i could not find it. any help?)
