I watched this film as a child and didn't fully appreciate or take in all that I was seeing. Rewatching it now, it's amazing that a single Xenomorph managed to kill 2 predators when the vibe i've always had is that a single Predator could take an army of Xenomorphs. They really are the Perfect Organism

In yautja culture they don’t kill sick or pregnant humans besides humans that have no weapons and aren’t a threat. It’s a part of their honor in hunting. That’s why scar let Weyland go out of yautja honor in hunting cause he knew Weyland was sick and gonna die anyway.

Hot take: people who bring up the “Oh, the Predators were just teenagers, an experienced Predator would’ve won easily!” argument are just salty Celtic lost. They may have been young bloods, but the Predators were also physically mature adults that were literally going on a rite of passage to prove their adulthood and worthiness. The Alien is the ultimate test they have to pass to prove themselves-the ‘Perfect Organism’ if you will. Celtic was a mature adult Predator with skill and cunning, and still the Alien won. A Predator can beat an Alien in a fight, and an Alien can beat a Predator in a fight. No matter how experienced. Grid’s victory over Celtic was legitimate.
