As a die hard fan of both franchises I love AVP. Since Predator 2 we have known (even as a joke put there by the creators) that the Predators hunted Xenos. AVP did a great job at building a whole mythology behind it and even more put a lot of efforts to blend the CGI with practical effects. It's like in Jurassic Park, you see the real thing one second and the CGI the next so that the it feels real. This is what is lacking in most other fantasy/sci-fi movies, they just think CGI can save them. No matter how far we have come technology-wise, many viewers can instantly know what is real and what is not. It's a shame that producers/directors just think about what is easy to do and what is not best for the people or the movie itself. (Like when Peter Jackson dropped by the Rogue One set and told Gareth Edwards to do things on CGI since he was having trouble filming a practical scene)

If we look closer on this scene they have different on AVP and AVP : Requem. 1. Earth view on the background have different angle. 2. The altar that used on predator laying are different. 3. Ship design are defferent. 4. Even Predators who lift dead predator are different. On AVP Requem look the predators not bulky anymore just like on first AVP.

Why the hell would the Predator let himself be brought onto a ship after he was infected??? I dont think whoever wrote this ever watched Predator. I remember seeing this in theaters thinking why are they in Antarctica when the predators are drawn to heat. why did he throw away is bomb when he was supposed to use it to kill himself if he faild....which he did. I was such a big fan of the books and comics, the last think I wanted to see was a one one wrestling match.

also i was just thinking...shouldn't the Predator have been alive when this happened...in the other Alien films everyone who had a chest burster was more animated and alive, whereas in this film/scene the Pred was brought on to the ship already fully dead...

NORFIE123456 the predator was killed by the Alien queen in the climax of the movie. She stabbed him with her tail and killed him before the scene of the chestburster at the final end.

yes i know that, but if you look at other Alien movies, the hosts briefly come back to life to 'give birth' to the chestburster alien...in AVP the Predator stayed dead regardless

Well in Alien 3 the Ox died after it was impregnated... but that was a baby burster. Just saying though the Alien birth process isn't exactly clearly defined since there are all different types of Aliens and chestbursters. ...Or maybe they just fucked up.
