Avril also said something along the lines that she herself, in contrast to the winner of American Idol (Kelly) is authentic because she was discovered (as if Kelly was inauthentic). She talked trash about other female artists back then (Britney). She didn't want to be mean, she just talked faster than she thought. 😄 She had a kick ass, "I don't give a F" attitude, she is so cool. 😁 Part of the reason why she was so irresistible to us boys lol 😅

I HATE Kelly Clarkson...but Avril is so beyond wrong here. A congratulatory hug is the literal expected response for these ceremonies. Avril would have known that was coming, and she has deep rooted psychological problems if momentary proximity to someone warrants making a full fledged scene, and a physical assault. If that is her PERSONAL problem, why didn't she opt to shake her hand first? Let's not pretend as though Kelly was bear-hugging her. She wasn't. Even if she was abnormally uncomfortable, a normal response would have been to step back away from the hug. Avril literally stepped/shoved INTO her direction making the occurrence all the more childish and theatrical. Love "some" of her music, but she is such a dramatic "pick me" girl, that it's no surprise her career was so short lived.
