For your information, this is the 12th season of this tv show. Soy you can check with the following names. In the beginning the title was De Beste Zangers van Nederland. Then they changed the format a bit, so from that moment on no partners or managers are accompanying the artists. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and with respect for each other's music style and you get this as a result. Tip: Last year an female operasinger did the Eminem rap Lose yourself and year before female operasinger and Male musical artist did the duet of Barcelona. And all those previous shows got some amazing surprises as well. Enjoy it.

Same here in the UK. This show is a breath of fresh air. I don't even understand the language but each singer is superb at bringing the tears on and delivering superb vocals. Thank god no sign of Simon Cowell anywhere.

One of the best if not even the best music show in the world. Nice to see a show concept that is not about tearing each other down or always having to be better than others, but to raise them up. carpe diem you should check out the Belgian variant called Liefde Voor Muziek. Sharon Den Adel (Within Temptation) took part in that one 2 seasons. That show is quality wise even better then this one because the artists are challenged to really create original versions of the songs they sing.

I always feel that music is so much more than just the language because we can understand the emotion in it even if we don’t understand the words, and Samantha is so good at expressing those feelings. This was the first time that I watched a music show and I liked all the singers... I stumbled upon Beste Zangers because of Floor... It is indeed heartwarming to see such great singers that are passionate about their own genres and sing with their hearts out without the pressure of singing just to be on top of one another... I like Samantha, Henk, Tim, Rolf, Emma and Ruben... I just wish the whole episode was uploaded (of course with english subtitle)... that way, us that are not from the Netherlands could understand what this show is all about...

The first two episodes ARE up fully.They just upload the full episodes about two weeks after air... I think. Also, being stateside as well, I just turn on the CC, pick the dutch choice and then "auto translate", select english and it worked!
