I think the creepiest thing about this whole scenario is how out of nowhere it all feels. There was no Stand attack. This guy is not ascribed any bizarre family history. There’s no legend surrounding the area this takes place in. This guy wasn’t known to be a dangerous obsessive before. He just exercised, in ways that make total sense for his job. And he enjoyed the process. Only for it to slowly take over his mind and his life. By the time anyone saw him as dangerous, he was far, far gone.
