I wish Tara could know what she's meant to me. Her words have given me so much comfort in hard times. I lost my best friend and companion yesterday. I have said often that my dog Lulu was my heart. She was in so many ways... and the grief at having to let her go, was almost frightening in it's depth. It felt bottomless. Today as I listen to this, and gaze at the empty space at my feet that she used to occupy - I feel sad, but it's more tender and less fearful.

I'm seeing the "controller" so much in what I do and the added suffering it's caused. I hope you are doing much better now 4 years on and have received many of the gifts in life that people are assuring me are coming my way.

every one of her talks is about how to hold heartbreak in your open heart so that acceptance can happen, as it must, if the life that is here (us) is to cling to living....
