Awakening wood was already my favourite above ground map theme in the series, and just listening to this version made me love it even more… 💛💛💛 i especially love the build up on the working/treasure versions, i was totally not expecting it and it makes me feel like i reached heaven 🥲🥲 Imagine if it still stayed in the official game, it could serve as a like… completion version, as in it plays when you’ve cleared all the caves and have found all the treasures in the area, and as a reward the game plays a more heavenly, joyful version of the song with a few additional instruments and more “heavenly” elements, and that the battle theme has less harsh instruments because well, you completed the map, so your battles don’t have to be as harsh lol.

I probably would've went crazy if I stumbled on that E3 trailer only to find that this version wasn't uploaded anywhere. I like this theme even more than the original. Thanks for the upload!

Some interesting countermelody and other more subtle differences with the arrangement. I never noticed how lush the harmony of this tune was towards the end of it, but it’s a lot more noticeable with the horns/flutes/strings. Pretty.
