In this video we explore the tendency to project our vices onto others, as well as how we might bring more awareness to this tendency.

I have never seen someone speak so humbly in my life. Thank you for teaching us how to look in a mirror and accept everything that is buried within, that we don't want to see or acknowledge. I believe this is the only way that we can move forward individually and collectively. Our lights will shine brightly once we have accepted our darkness and stop projecting it onto others. Thank you for this beautiful video and for your authenticity.

Humility in action, full of clarity and self-honesty, and always simple and peaceful. Humility loves truth over ego, depth over appearance. Humility is intrinsic to spiritual practice. The result of these is transcendence.

❤ this. It took a toxic relationship for me to realize a lot of what this man is saying. I was forced to step outside of my protective bubble and I almost turned myself inside out, but in that space, I was forced to be deadly honest with myself. I discovered that I had an ego (awareness of this means I now question my motives), I discovered that I was in a lot of denial about my shame and how much I loathed myself. it was painful, but was so worth it as I also discovered how I strive for truth and expect that from someone else.. then I have to be give exactly the same in return (the wonders of this is that you're now discovering who you are and how huge your heart is) I question from a new perspective now and I always ask myself.. are you guilty of that? I don't want to be a hypocrite.. I want truth and if I don't question myself and get to understand as much as I can, my life will not become richer. During turning myself inside out, I realized that I was betraying myself and in turn means I was betraying others. it made me feel sick to my stomach. I also realized that I didn't think that my love was good enough.. I didn't think I was capable of loving and certainly didn't think I deserved to be loved. I found my heart in this truth and I realized not only was I capable of giving.. I was deserving of recieving too. Perspective and understanding is key. ❤️

A few years ago I heard “It’s never about what the other person says or does, but what I do with it” and I instantly thought that’s not true and looked to prove it wrong. I find that I’m happier if work out my side, rather than try to point out the other persons faults and/or wrong doing. Love this message!

Self-reflection is quite hard for most people since we have this desire to see ourselves being right and correct. Admitting our faults is not an easy task but if we subconsciously feel that there's something wrong with us, we'll be pointing it out. That's the trickiest part of self-reflection. We don't realize what we actually need to overcome and our subconscious simply hints at it but if we genuinely try and improve ourselves, we'll pick up on these traits. It takes time but if we truly want to better ourselves, we will succeed in doing so.

How someone is reacting to me is about them, not me. But it is "me" when it comes to me how I am giving them a reaction. The reaction I'm giving is then me. So i am learning myself from the way I'm reacting to things happening, and at the same time I know it is not necessary to react at all..

Tash, it's the potential of it I believe.. for some reason, one feels that that they are terrible, but it's usually from some kind of childhood trauma. The heart feels that there is something wrong with them, but if we all really think and feel into that more deeply, it's because our hearts are pure and beautiful.. that's why they got so damaged in the first place. We have to be deadly honest about how we really feel about ourselves to even have a chance of a better and more fulfilling life. Lots of us are frightened as we think there's a monster inside of us, but the more we run away from the monster, the bigger he'll become! I was forced to face mine and I'm discovering that there's no monster at all! 😊❤️

All the examples that were mentioned in this video are definitely things which i criticise about other people and which are also my own struggles. I think the biggest key is self-compassion. We need to accept that we have also flaws and not judge ourselves so we can improve and then further, we’ll be able to be compassionate towards other people too (as it is also mentioned in the video).

Beautiful talk and reflection, I have judged other spiritual people the last year. I try to be more neutral and compassionate now, but 2020 was wild and crazy, so I judged people who went deep into " conspiracy " and spiritual activism. They knew the absolute truth and tried to impose it on others. I found that wrong, but all are on their journey all have things to heal, shadow to integrate. Me first and foremost. 😊🙏♥️🌏🌻

True self reflection can only be done if ego has dissolved first. This is why it is so hard to do and why many people have such a hard time self reflecting themselves. I found out the hard way that indeed, most things I observed in others were in fact my own projections. Tough pill to swallow, but very liberating to be able to understand myself a little bit better.

Thank you for the video, alot of what you said in this video is some of the many opportunities that are very current for me. There's a lot of the old that needs letting go.. but am still holding on to closely and tightly, alot that needs working on and alot that needs healing. Approaching that threshold being close enough to see the other side of the veil, to see the great opportunity and growth that lies beyond this great challenge. Evolving the model, becoming anew so to speak. Mind will say it is difficult, but I know that is just mind. Nothing is difficult, mind just likes to add things, interpret things. And I know the magnitude of challenges we face in life is equal to the heights in which we are capable of rising. So I embrace this challenge with gratitude... Well, I try to at least.
