You said there is a polyester blend, and that it's not made from entirely natural materials? I couldn't find this on their site. Where dose it explain this. Thanks

Hi there -- Thanks for your question. I'm not aware of any specific place on their website where this is discussed, however our information on this point comes straight from the company. In terms of "where this is explained," respectfully, it's explained right here... The purpose of these overviews is to provide a clear and independent explanation of a product line and its features, without any marketing or jargon. This is a good example of why we don't recommend that anyone ever buy a product without at least first looking at our coverage of that product. I hope that's helpful.

I asked an Awara rep via chat when the 2022 model would be available but they had no idea. Can you give your best guestimate when to check back with them to buy the new model?

Hi Joseph -- Thanks for your question. You can get these models now. The existing Awara has been updated and the new Awara Premier is now available on their site. You can find the new model here: www.goodbed.com/o/p/409043/awara-premier/ I hope that's helpful.

We were so happy to order an organic mattress from this company. The Awara mattress has nothing to do with organic material. There is no organic latex or wool material whatsoever!!. I just bought one and I'm really disappointed that on every Awara webpage they are saying that they have organic latex ,organic wool from New Zealand. No way.. The truth is they don't have organic mattresses at all. Cover too, 73% polyester,27% Bamboo cotton. Border 73%Polyester,27%Bamboo cotton Bottom 100%Polyester. This company is a Scam and I believe that some people didn't even check the tag when they got it. The return process is very difficult!! Hopefully I will receive my money back

This was in my top three finalists, probably in the number one spot, until I learned it is made in China. With all the made in the USA options out there, this is a hard "no thank you".

Hi there -- Thanks for your comment, and for flagging this for us. In this video, we didn't say anything about this mattress being made in China because the new version is made in the United States. We checked this with with the company at the time, and I just confirmed it again before posting this reply. That said, I do think we may still have a reference to China on our written review -- if so, that would be a legacy of the prior version of the mattress. I'll make sure we find and correct that ASAP. I hope that's helpful.

All the materials are made in China anyway. And so are your electric appliances, clothes, furnitures, etc. If it's said to be made in USA, it usually means it's assembled here.

@@kevinmsft Thanks for your comment, but with regards to Awara's materials, where are you getting this information? Separately, who does "your" refer to? We (GoodBed) don't manufacture anything -- not mattresses, and certainly not appliances, clothing, etc. And AFAIK, Awara's parent company (which is called Resident) doesn't make any appliances or clothing either.

Original looked nicer and was thicker. I could be wrong. I'm surprised the thickest model is 12 inches now.
@goodbed3 жыл бұрын
IIRC, from a height and layering standpoint, the original model was a little closer to the current pillow-top model. But the bigger difference IMHO is that from a feel standpoint, the new construction of both current models has added more softness than the original model had.

@@goodbed new one looks crap... Which is sad because I was about to order based on the old model.

they reduced the coil from 9 to 8 inches .. sad
@goodbed3 жыл бұрын
@@aaronc9983 Thanks for your comment. I am as disappointed and frustrated as anyone when a company "de-specs" their products (swapping in inferior components), so we often do call this out when we see it. But FWIW, I don't think that switching from a 9" coil to an 8" coil makes any difference whatsoever, other than making the mattress 1" shorter. There are many coil changes that would definitely affect the support or durability characteristics of a mattress -- eg, changing the gauge of the wire, the number of working turns, the number of coils in the mattress, etc. But holding those constant, changing from 9" to 8" would not have any negative impact IMHO. I hope that's helpful.
