This is fab! I would love love to know how you’re placing the hair bundles so you can then carve into them. Thank you in advance!!

Hey Chie, I'm actually in the process of making a course on how to do this look start to finish. It is a very requested art piece and can be very complex for a youtube video. Should be released soon. Check back as I will be making a video to promote it. Truly thanks so much for the support!

I love this how do you do the placement for the braiding hair
@jakethompsonhair4 жыл бұрын
Hi Trini, 1st off thank you so much! I appreciate that;). I usually put the natural hair in pony's and fasten the synthetic hair piece to the pony's.

Did you add copper wire to this piece???
@jakethompsonhair4 жыл бұрын
Hi Enigbonjaye Funke, I did not use copper wire to create this particular piece. This piece is mainly synthetic hair, no sort of wiring throughout it as it would be hard to clipper if I kept hitting wire. BTW, thanks for inquiring.

I’m a artist just starting in cosmetology and I feel the most connected with hair in terms of updos/avant-garde. I was wondering if there were ways to externship with avant-garde based hair stylists?

Or any advice you have for a future professional interested in this avenue

Hi Heather, thanks for inquiring. Having avant-garde artist let you into their world can be hard, at least it was for me when I was learning all my tricks back in the day. I would say 1st start by following or creeping ;) on artist you like. 2nd, try and copy what they do or least try and break in down so you understand how it works. 3rd, when I say copy, your version is going to be a little different than the person your mimicking. 4th, I'm in the process of creating an all access course to my signature Avant-Garde looks from my North American Hair Styling wins. It is going to be bada**. I reveal all my secrets to how I created. Should be out very soon.

Hey there Mustafa, the kind of fabric(synthetic hair) I use is kanekalon hair. Here is a link to by it. I used solid color, you can use whatever your creative inspiration desires. amzn.to/3akr88b
