LOVE Collards and Smoked Neck Bones. When I was small we used to drink a hot cup of the Juices...we called it "Pot Liquor". You are so right, Nowadays a bunch of Collard greens in a Grocery store is about 3 leaves. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I just discovered your channel today and had to search for this recipe. I have been cooking my greens all wrong, they have been swimming in water, lol. I can't do the meat or the sugar. I will start adding garlic and onion today. I also don't use hot sauce but I will get some jalapeno peppers.

Never ever ever cooked greens with the stems, always remove the stems My mother side of the family is from Louisiana. My father side is Arkansas and they would never. Unless you like your greens to taste bitter .

I'm sorry, this recipe is pitiful, you are already using salt pork plus using all of that salt plus using smoked meat, that's alot of salt, ppl eat what they like this I know, but you aren't using much as far as ingredients so I know those greens will be bland. But hey to each his own. You would get better flavor if you fried your salt pork first. Well enjoy😮
