Thanks Lee i do enjoy your food vids they do make me chuckle. As an ex military chef we used to feed hundreds or cook to order in an officers mess on weekends. I spent years cooking for officers, Snco"s and Airman, you eat with your eyes presentation is the start of a great meal or can ruin one.

Ah MM I totally love and respect your comments. I hope people can agree to disagree 😀. I had an all day breakfast yesterday with the sausages cut in half. I preferred it as it doesn’t present me with a big fat filled sickly sausage and is cooked more evenly throughout rather than dark brown on the outside and sometimes raw within(needs slow cooking). I hate sachets as they’re so difficult to open but knowing it’s Heinz is good and not sauce diluted with vinegar 🤮. Also I hate runny white on an egg but the opposite with the yellow-so sunny side down isn’t for me. It’s great we’re all different 👍

The bangers look bang on along with the rest of the breakfast. Have to knock a point off for not having bubble Biscuits should not be there . Chocolate one sides are the biscuits to have with your tea at elevenses . £14 that would feed me for 3 days in Vietnam 🇻🇳

7/10 Sausage should not be cut and i agree with your opinion on the egg. I went too the one pound burger bar the other day and Chris said he thought you might be going back, next time you are in Bpool try CFresh just round the corner from Chris, thay are really nice and only £3.50 take away 🍻

Looks bloomin' great that breakfast when it arrived! One minor criticism, and I agree with you, is for me personally the egg slightly not done enough - I like a white seal over the yolk. Sausages and bacon, mushrooms, hash browns looked really well cooked and good to me tho. 8.7 from me

Lived in Mansfield all my life but in the last two years I can count on one hand the times I've been into the town centre. And those times were for opticians visits. Yes Covid played a part but there's just nothing to go into town for. All the best shops are on retail parks away from town centre. Great planning from the town planners. Breakfast a 7.

I've had better breakfast for half the price. I went there and left half of it on the plate. Agree with all the points made so a solid 3 for the breakfast. Family bakers around corner. Top breakfast and fried bread for less than a fiver. Great video top viewing 👍🍺

Lee where do I start. The sauces were a great brand but not in glass bottles 0.5 mark off. Salt and pepper not in pots 0.5 off. In general all looked greasy and the bacon, mushrooms, half tomato and sausages all cooked on a Plancha grill hence that's why the sausages had been split in half. The grill obviously had stale oil on it and needed a clean hence the bacon and sausages looked blackened another point off. Only half a tomato another 0.5 off. Not thick cut toast 0.5 off. Tea and extra £2 on top of the £9 for the breakfast another point off. £3 for fresh orange juice £££. Another 0.5 off. Therefore 5.5/10. Certainly NOT award winning

It’s a breakfast Of course the sausage and bacon will let off some grease along with the fried eggs cooked in oil.. and the sausages are cut to allow it to cook properly all the way through sachets of sauce are not only posh most will agree but also very clean which is a huge aspect for many people in award winning establishments, a glass bottle of sauce may be passed around 100 people a sachet 1 the toast also wasn’t thin cut if you were as educated as you claim to be in this matter you’d know it’s flat pressed but was pressed down please when you attempt to criticise look from both perspectives I know this is a very late reply my bad for that but if you can do better no problem

You need to try the Tavern & Co in Penny Lane, Liverpool. There breakfast won Breakfast of the year 2014 and 2015 and won trip advisor certificate of excellence in 2019. Nice breakfast

It's such a shame seeing our local highstreets with empty shops etc, bring back the highstreet for sure. It looked really nice on first impressions, looked nice and clean to. Really nice choice on the menu of different items. Fresh orange in a glass with ice, you can't beat it. Nope Lotus biscuit belongs with coffee in my opinion to. Looks alright on plate, I like my sausages well done like that and eggs looked great although a bit brown looking underneath from frying pan looks like. I think I would give this a 7.9.

I'm from Mansfield born and bred. But Mansfield is not the same anymore. No good shops. Moving supermarket out of town centre was the worse mistake they ever did.

I agree there’s nothing in Mansfield now. I needed some shorts and ended up going to Nottingham My daughters go shopping in Nottingham. Nothing in Mansfield unless you want Phone stores, Vape Shops and Cash Traders. It also used to be a fantastic night out. Not the same now.

What a shame Mansfield was a lovely bustling town especially the market with the pea and cockle store nightlife was also great but as well as empty shops pubs are boarded up too! breakfast looked ok I'd score it a 5 Littlewoods used to do a great breakfast it's Primark now.

Thought it looked pretty awful to be honest, the eggs were snotty - the sausages had obviously been cooked earlier then cut in half and dumped on a griddle to warm them up then they burnt them! The bacon was black as it had been cooked on a mucky griddle. You were very generous - that looked like a 4 to me. Cheers Lee!

- Nicely presented breakfast. - The sausages shouldn't be cut in half although they do it to avoid them being under-cooked or holding up the rest of the breakfast. - The eggs were still half raw, and therefore a salmonella risk, so I'd send them back. - I'd expect for a tenner to have tea or coffee included too. - The server was pleasant and correct. Overall it's just a 6.5 from me.

Hi Lee, In the States when you order tea unless you’re specific they will never give you milk. They give you a wedge of lemon even with hot tea and I notice some of the servers a little taken aback when you ask for milk. Lastly. When you do come to New Jersey. You have to talk about Taylor ham.

I’d have biscotti with anything, love them. Don’t like sausage split in half and cooked as it dries it out. It looked as if it was cooked together with the same charred bits on the food. Loved the teapot ! I’d give it an 8

I have been to Mansfield to watch Mansfield v Leeds United in a pre-season friendly Town won 2 0 I liked it there were some good pubs and it has a train station so without driving you can get to Nottingham and derby easily and it's better than Peckham where I live. The Breakfast I thought was poor just my opinion I didn't think they put too much care into it just get it done attitude cheers Lee

I agree with you this time 8 out of 10 the eggs were under cooked and get rid of the Hash Brown for a piece of fried bread instead I'm not a great fan of the frozen Hash Browns started by Mcdonalds Burger joint. Mansfield Council should go on a fact finding mission to Chesterfield they have a busy market and very few empty shops in the centre why is that ?
