Seriously No GUY PEARCE?? WTH!!! The Brutalist is a clear frontrunner, one of the best films of the year & he’s been winning in critics circles. He’s also a beloved actor who’s been working for ages. Personally I think he should be sweeping the season. He’s phenomenal in The Brutalist- a really tricky, tough role. He can make you laugh & make you despise him. He goes big but also you can see the insecurity simmering underneath. Just a complex role! Definitely SAG worthy.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Amy Adams got in here at SAG for Nightbitch. If she could get a surprise nomination at SAG for Hillbilly Elegy then she could get in for almost anything.

@@caiolupas Critics groups don't have much correlation with what industry voters think, Felicity Jones will get in on the strength of her film and being a former nominee. Selena Gomez won't get in because the role is too polarizing and borderline offensive.

Anora, Sing Sing were snubbed by the Artios Casing Society. This is the new Oscar category in 2026. Not sure how many of the cast of Anora are SAG members. Most of the cast of Sing Sing are non-actors playing themselves.

It's not Best Picture, it's Best Ensemble, and people know Mikey Madison because she's in the running for Best Actress and is doing a whole bunch of press. Most people can't name anyone else in the movie. Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but that's just a fact.

Like Beasts of no nation got in with a lot of unknown actors, and so did Parasite consisting of foreign Actors. If Parasite can win, then Anora can get nominated with its Russian Cast. Dont forget that Neon was behind both too

@@JoshFriedman786 Beasts of No Nation got in 2015, and Anora is a frontrunner for Best Picture, they wont pass it on for something like a Complete Unknown (which people are overestimating this awards season). Anora has also been receiving a lot of ensemble nods at critics awards so idk.

I don't even think they're my favorites. They both feel more "SAG-friendly" to me than Nicole, who I think can win at the Globes and hopefully hit the Oscars.
