I know I'll be excoriated for saying this but Weinstein produced a lot of iconic films that will stand the test of time. You cannot just erase him and his achievements from history. Actors, writers and directors made millions off him, AND he actively promoted his films to win awards for them. Besides, Hollywood has enough skeletons in its closets to fill 5 Forest Lawns. There's an old saying that "creative temperaments can be hard to bear". Weinstein embodied that. Everyone who worked in any aspect of entertainment in LA at the height of his power knew he was explosive and a letch...but they were willing to walk that gauntlet for the chance at fame, a choice they made. One of the most disingenuous responses at the time came from Meryl Streep, who feigned ignorance of his actions....oh come on! In THE most gossip-riddled industry? Yeah, right.

Mediocrity is awarded... It is so disappointing to see the memory of a huge artist be trashed like that. Renee has no singing talent! She speaks in a soft fake voice which Judy never had! All the music and interviews are available online now and anyone with a hearing voice can find out how the injustice that has been done with this cast. Judy Garland s family disapproves of this movie and so do I !
