They simply run into a shelter. Though Bowser behaves far more spectacular: earthquaking steps, god-awful roars... And the final launch of the enemy to the near space. With intentionally - and clearly - unstable orbital parameters, for a fuckshit castle-bot has lesser than nothing to do in space.

Replaying the Peach’s Castle exterior theme with the Dark Star music was an interesting touch! It’s especially funny, cause both music tracks sound very similar, just played differently. It makes me wonder how it would sound with the original Dark Star music from the original game.

Bowser roars, but giant Bowser produces a god-awful roar. Also he can launch that screwed-up castle bot on a rather low orbit, with an altitude of ca. 200 miles.
