@Rya 31 well of course they did. It costs hundreds of millions to develop a production car. I think he mentioned in one video he has a little over $100k into this car. Mad Mike and plenty of others have built very strong reliable rotary engines. The truly amazing thing about Rob and his friends is they did this all by themselves. Built the whole thing and learned everything from complete scratch and done something no one else has. That said if I had a ton of money and didn't work a 9 to 5 I could also do something amazing. But one can dream.

Whatever the word is for making you gain more mph in each gear, that's what you need. Yeah you can shift fast but you need to let that 1000hp+ scoot you down the track for longer in each gear. Instead of compensating with traction control, making your gears taller may prevent them from slipping/spinning. 1st and 2nd for the hard launch of AWD but 3rd and 4th should be taller to allow that horsepower to propel you down the track instead of wasting time shifting every 2 seconds. Those gears are good for rallying but not drag racing. What good is 1200hp if your gearing prevents you from going over 170? Stop messing around with TC and just put taller gears in. It works wonders on motorcycles and atv's and that's where I'm coming from with this.
