The people saying this isn't a sleeper are wrong. I doubt this is a daily, and is used almost entirely for racing. When does the majority of street racing happen? At night. You couldn't see the turbo if he had his headlights on behind you, or if he was right next to you. And if you could get a glimpse of the turbo or heard it, I doubt anyone would think that car makes 800+ hp. Plus, most people would assume it is FWD or RWD, not AWD. It is most definitely a sleeper, and a bad ass one at that.

3G colt but great comment. ;) There is a 4G colt (silver hatchback) from Germany making about 1000hp. The 4G is a lot more rare to see done up, but they're also out there and if you search youtube you'll see plenty. I even had a 2G. They're so much fun, people have no idea.

Very cool. Never been someone that has gotten into the 4 cylinder stuff (not to say 4 bangers are dumb/ricer/all that bs, matter of fact the Ford Duratec 4 cylinder is a pretty popular little motor to hot rod and put in smaller dirt track cars where im from), but I am someone that can appreciate all engines in general. I mean think about it guys, cramming that much air and fuel into that little engine is pretty awesome.

Get something to cover up the fuel cell, tint the windows to hide the cage, put a mesh grill to hide the turbo a bit and no one would suspect a thing. Definitely a sleeper.

Was this an original Colt GT? I had a 92 Plymouth Colt with a built 4g63t and it never made any real horsepower. The most I ever got out of it with a 19c turbo and 660cc injectors was 358 whp. Even just being FWD it was more than fast, it was scary. I couldn't imagine this thing being AWD with over 700whp.

It seems like people don't realize that a car can have a turbo and still not have big horsepower numbers or make it down the track fast in fact most turbocharged cars aren't built for speed but for fuel economy nowadays(from the factory)

Adding nitrous oxide would require more tuning with fuel valves fuel pumps etc etc something a dumbass SHEEP like you wouldn't know and also there is no such thing as adding a 200hp shot if nos. and again at 200mph the thing would either A: fly into the air from lack of downforce, B: loose fenders/body panels and other body parts because of poor aerodynamical design, or C: blow up the motor

Anthony Ellis frank is dumb he should of said they would have to pull a shit load of timing to run a 200 shot but I dont believe 200mph would be safe for this car it would need more downforce. The car is light as a feather and is just not designed to go 200mph as far as body parts flying off eh anything is possible especially at that speed but i doubt it.

Jeremiah Leer Yes , Barely change anything. I have a magazine street racer magazine from years ago that shows exactely what you need to do for these things. Even the ecu just plugs right into these cars within seconds. Funnest sleeper car i ever had by far. Road race engineering .com or amg.com.

if your colt had the dohc motor stock then yes lol but most Colts summits mirages have the 4g15 motor which does not have the right motor mounts you can source the mounts from an early 92-95 hyundai elantra some of these.

Bailey Pierce That's gotta be a joke im hoping. Obviously there is atleast three replacements. Turbo, supercharged and Tesla even now. And i remember hearing that crap the past 20 years from people i raced and beat. They were always like what the heck is that thing? What do you have in it. Stock turbo was hundreds and hundreds of responses i gave. And finally the american muscle even figured out there is replacement for displacement. There mostly dropping displacement and putting supercharged or turbo charged and one car even has both but thats volvo theve always been smarter then american muscle. But yea there is obviously many many replacements.
