Hey guys… I forgot to mention on this video that this move is seriously dangerous if you do it to someone who doesn’t know how to roll or if you’re crazy violent with your pressure when you do it. Take care of each other… unless it’s a competition! 🤙

If there were the equivalent of a worldwide academy award for best grappling instructor on social media, Coach Brian would take the prize every day of the year…because he is the most prolific coach at producing daily content of the highest quality instruction and detail. The guy shares information and no one comes close.

This technique was done perfectly in the Charles Olivera and Tony Furguson fight. The nasty arm bar that did not even get a tap is crazy.

@Andrew Onymous with most grappling in MMA you leave yourself open to strikes. The shoulder pressure really causes the person to want to escape and not strike. If you get struck then you quickly take it to the ground

One of my fav takedowns. I remember someone hitting this on me in my youth days and I added it to my repertoire ever since

Bro once you get the roll instead of going on top you can immediately go to the barataplata on top position by stepping over the head

2:22 My only fear with this move is that there's a chance where the opponen's knee might land on your face when you roll
@TeachMeGrapplingАй бұрын
That would be really difficult if you are putting the pressure properly. Train slow and train safe.

The instruction is very flowy and videos get lost in the sea of uploads. I enjoy a good revisit.

Yep! You need to perform it in front of the body for wrestling. It’s not as nearly effective that way.

It's dangerous... I don't push it on anyone... Ive been studying wrestlers for a long time now and alot of 2 on 1 with my coach at the gym... He's really good at the fake out double leg from here.. Kolat has alot of good stuff that is short and sweet.. and Kolats ukis always look like they be feeling the pressure 😅
