AWESOME AIRBOAT RIDE THROUGH THE SWAMPS OF LOUISIANA! GATORS CAME ON OUR BOAT!! (RVing in Louisiana)

Two swamp tours in one weekend?? Yes... and two very different experiences! This time we are on an airboat and there are only 6 passengers on board. The airboats are loud so the first thing you do is put on your ear protection and then sit back and enjoy the ride. We were flying through the swamp!
We made lots of stops to learn about the animals who live in the swamp... and of course, to see the gators. As Colby says, we saw big gators, small gators and baby gators! And our guide fed them!! He had raw chicken onboard that he put on a line to lure them near us. And the gators would crawl up on the boat to get to the meat! It was fascinating... and a little scary? No, not scary... just really cool! This was an amazing experience that we can recommend to anyone in the New Orleans or South Louisiana area to try for themselves!

I really enjoyed this tour and the "Hector Protector " tour guide. Tickle him under the chin, right where the food goes in. See him smile, run a mile, no stayin at the Gator Inn. Boat breaks down, turn around, see how fast you swim. I'll stay on land just as I planned right here where I live. I watched your show and you must know, I am waiting for your next vid.

That looks like it was an awesome tour! I can’t believe the tour guide just put his hand in and held up the gator’s head like that! 😳 I took an airboat ride in Fort Lauderdale once, but the gators weren’t nearly as active. I would love to do this again some time!

We went on one of these in Florida. They said they don’t feed or attract the alligators with food as they then associate the boats or people with food and then may attack. Your encounter was too close for me!😀
