I just got back today to buffalo ny from hollywood beach and stayed at Margaritaville for a week. I had an ocean front room on the 18th floor and it was AMAZING !! The view was incredible ! We sat on our balcony and watched the concerts in the hollywood theater right out back on the beach ..Sound was incredible ! We didnt even get a rental car..All we wanted or needed was right there!!! Ate at Landshark a few times and margaritaville a few time.. rented a cabana at one of the pools on two different days and had a towel guy plus a server for the day.. Had lunch brought out....Cant wait to go back. I have gone to Clearwater beach for years but with the red tide issues decided to go to Hollywood instead ...SOOOOOOOo glad we did!!!!

We visited Fort Lauderdale on the May 21st and stayed till the 25th. We stayed with a friend who took us every where including Hollywood beach, of course do the pandemic and state shutdown we did not get the full experience. But on the day we returned home my friend called to convince us to put an offer on his neighbor's condo, so we did and it was excepted. In two weeks our home in NJ is going on the market and in 3 months we will be Dolphin Isle residents and we will call Fort Lauderdale home. We are excited for a future in the sunshine sate.

Rose Iovine It is a nice casual hotel with everything you need but still keeps the relaxed atmosphere. Watching the flow riders is entertaining (at least to me). I like to watch the wipe outs.

I got the water taxi up from Fort Lauderdale for the day. Loved Hollywood, and will definitely be back. Karen and all the crew at Jimmy Buffett's were fantastic. Funny thing is, with some folk calling it a boardwalk, and more calling it a broadwalk, it can be a little confusing. I actually expected to see real boards. There really is a great chilled out vibe here.

I’m from the UK and my family and I have vacationed in Florida for the last 3 years. In August 2018 we did Miami for 5 days then we drove to Treasure island where we spent another five days then finally we drove to Margarittaville Hollywood Beach and stayed there for four days. We really enjoyed Margarittaville although the beach was my least favourite out of the three locations we visited. Miami was fantastic and has always held a special place in my heart-it’s just damn expensive for nice accommodation and going out for meals with a family of 4.Treasure Island was also amazing-so quiet with a beautiful beach and we are returning there in August 2019 where we’ll spend two weeks. Great video!

I know where you guys are I've been up there I'm going to make it up to her at Beach and bring some Joy like I always have Macy at the riptide looking forward to seeing you there's a lot of confusion up there and there's still love and I've been watching I used to play the Johnson Street Bandshell in the 80s silent Watcher Dania Beach Florida

Lived right across the street back in 1971, and I hate to say it but it was way nicer then. Not busy, and we use walk on the boardwalk at night, it was great, loved it. I don't think I would care so much for all the people and commercial stuff now, but thats just me.

We just vistited right after hurricane Irma. not even 2 weeks after the storm ,the place was beautiful and cleaned up so fast! we were amazed. Many of the surrounding beaches were nothing but piles of sand everywhere. The shops and restaurants are actually very reasonable , they've got a good thing going there in my opinion. We live in Pinellas county and this place is alot different but reminds me of the relaxing atmoshpere we love about pinellas. I will be returning here for sure. nice video

rich f Yeah, its a really relaxing beach; but it's not boring. I visit it a lot & really enjoy it. It feels very different than all the other beaches in the area. The beach, the food, the atmosphere all feel free of pretentiousness. It's got something for everybody who's not trying to be "seen". As far as the clean up, I didn't even know it was restored so quickly. I haven't been there in a while (it's been crazy for me lately). I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. Hi, loved the video. I lived in the USA for about 11 years in New York and Jersey. I’m from Colombia and I’ve been living back here in Colombia for the past 15 years. I’m actually thinking on moving back to US. I thought about Miami but it seems just WAY to crowded, Hollywood seems nice, less expensive, less people but still great beaches and things to do. I have a 2 bedroom condo facing the ocean next to Margaritaville. I spend a lot of time there i also live in Connecticut. The beach area is fun. Not sure i would live there year round. Lots of traffic and some sketchy areas inland. If you don't mind that it's really convenient to have Miami half hour south and Fort Lauderdale 10 minutes north. We go to Key Largo a lot to go snorkeling on a catamaran it's an hour and a half from Hollywood Beach. Best snorkeling I ever had and I've snorkeled everywhere in the Caribbean and Tahiti and Hawaiii.

normaj39ami I will post a video soon, but there are tons of little two story Motels, some older some renovated, just check booking.com and you’ll see more. There is a Marriott as well, very nice. The beach here is a light sand, sometimes whiter looking and sometimes sandier, but typically the water should be clear and turquoise but in these last years, periodically there has been terrible seaweed problems, but recently it has cleared up! I have been to the beach on gulf coast as well and in destin you will find beautiful white beaches and in Naples as well. Those areas can be very expensive, but that’s most places on the beach in Florida.

Scarlett Pereira Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a private beach area. It's on public beach. As far as the pool is concerned, it is only for hotel guests. There are pool gates which need room keys. The hotel itself is accessible to non guests (including restaurants).

Wish I would have watched this video before I went to South Beach. I did NOT like South Beach at all and wasted my day in horrible traffic going to South Beach. I paid $40 for parking at South Beach. It was overly crowded and just not worth it. Hollywood Beach is more up my alley!

Robert Sutschek I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the correction. I was just going by what I hear some people say & the things online. About half the websites & videos have it one way, & the other half, a different way. Nowadays most broadwalks don't have boards, but they used to. I think people just got used to it and the name just stuck. But you are correct, there are no boards & if you say that's the way to say/spell it, I'll go with that. I don't have enough detailed knowledge to know myself. Either way, thanks again & thanks for watching.

Tasmar Ok, so Hollywood Beach is not necessarily known for fish & chips (neither is south Florida for that matter). What it is known for is seafood in general. Although the broadwalk does offer seafood it tends to be more mom & pop tourists places (which are ok). Nick's is a decent place to get some lobster, fish or the like. If you want good quality seafood, a better bet would be along the inter-coastal waterway (just a couple of blocks west). Places like GG's or Billy's stone crab. Hope you enjoy your time & your meal!

Frances Van Siclen it must have been a holiday or Saturday afternoon but it’s rarely that busy. Also where he took the video is the busier parts. North and south a few blocks are very calm and more residential.
