Absolutely gorgeous dial! The non-rotating bezel does not bother me but the date does. On a dial as beautiful as that I want to see just the dial not a date.I would love to see these same type of dials in non-GMT versions as well, that would be sweet

San Martin fan, just ordered this one for my 5th. Thank you for the great review, originally i was set on the blue sand dial but after reviews like yours, swayed my decision and paid a little extra for the Lapis Lazuli dial. Cheers!

Got the same few weeks ago. I was scared to be bothered by the 'GS homage' but in the end the dial gives it its own personality. For the rest I find this watch great, impressively finished, superb. A killer from SM!

i feel like it is different enough to not be really considered an homage watch. some elements are similar, but comparatively it is much farther from the og than other homage watchs

Thanks for your thoughts on it. Their 0129 line is probably one of the best watches for the price out there. I’m hoping they will start expanding their original designs. But even with a Homage, they still explore different dials so that’s a good start. Thanks!

I agree with you, really hope the added more detail to the hands to play with the light. They used to do that on their older model. Their Willard homage hands is nice

I agree with you about the hands. They don't have the solid look to them. Flat and thin. I wished they cap the seconds hand . Induces with sharp flat sides 👌. Nice watch you have there

I ordered aventurine and it came home, but problem is because I am on the road with truck. Can't wear it until June 😢. Have fossil heritage and Casio 168 to keep me in time. That blue is looking awesome, maybe I'll order it 😅

SM does a great job, but with this they missed on a few details. I agree with you 100%, the hands need to be a bit wider and top hat sapphire is a miss. I don't know why but that top hat crystal really bugs me, wish they did a flat or gave an option for a flat crystal.

Great review. I agree with you on the hands and the crystal. The GMT thing has tun its run its course I hope. I do like that blue background let me ask you though with the human eye and not under the magnification of the video. Does it look that pretty with detail.
