That looks more like a small freight elevator than a dumbwaiter. It also has buttons inside, so it could be a freight elevator.

I think this is more like a cart lift. A lot of hospitals have those. But even for a cart lift it seems quite large.

Interesting that while it is not intended for people to ride, it has a full COP complete with an alarm and stop switch. That was a really cool video. With that short of a distance maybe you can send your camera for a ride sometime. With permission of course.

I was in a 12 story dormitory were there was'nt a passenger elevator. So with my physically disableility was going to be sent up stairs in the Dumbwaiter
