Definitely become a fan of rough out since getting a pair. It is such a tough wearing leather. The single stitch is a smarter look than double in my opinion. The shop looks like a great place to visit.

I prefer a round toe but that is still a nice looking boot and love that it is a single stitch weld instead of a double. Keep up the good work as always JC. Step Strong!

I own these same boots and love them! That rough out is super tough and that hard leather insole is the best way to go.

I’ve just realized I really enjoy a blue upper on a boot , I just got myself some tecovas or I’d consider buying something similar to this asap. For sure in the future , Anderson bean hippo one looked amazing in blue but this one might be a runner up . Thanks Jeremiah , amazing content as always.

Bought mine in July 2021 and it was an NRSWorld exclusive then. They must have moved on from it? Anyways its one of my favorite Hondos I own. Amazing roughout, Hondo traditional build quality, if it has to be a square to then single stitch helps lol. Great choice JC

I love these boots, Jeremiah. How does the sizing work with Hondo? True to size or something different. I wear Ariat right now and their wide square runs about 1/2 size smaller than their Heritage Roper round toes.... Thanks for bring these out to show us!

Great review! What kind of jeans are you wearing in this video?? I’m looking for the perfect pair of jeans for my body type. I’m a big fan of the wrangler retros slim boot because I have skinny legs and I don’t like the bottom of the jeans too open. I like the opening of straight cut jeans but since they’re not boots cuts the boots shaft shows. Any suggestions?

Hey, not sure if you’ve done this before but it might help people that don’t have as in depth of boot knowledge. But what about say a top 5 or top 10 list of boot manufacturers that punch above their weight. Meaning for example say the construction of Chisos boots are on par with boots nearly double their price. But like doing a break down like, here is brand XYZ here is their materials and construction/quality and these sell for $350 where as you’d have to pay $650 from Justin’s or whoever. Not sure if I’m explaining that properly or just maybe a few specific boots in general that are made so much better that you’d have to pay much more from another big box mfg ect?
