Jason great demonstration. You are proof that a heli flyer shouldn't test for beginners. I have a E160 and it's extremely twitchy even in 6g. But it can be made to fly scale/ smoothly and suitable for beginners by lowering the head speed, Cyclic and tail response, remember the fixed pitch you learnt on.. Try a fixed wing flyer nube on it, look at the fear in his eyes. Not picking love the channel and am subscribed.

Nicholas Cartlidge I find that a higher head speed by lowering the pitch curve worked better to smooth out the helicopter and tame it down a bit. I got to learn how to adjust old school again since all my other ships are larger and run governors😀

Probably the most stable beginner heli Jason's flown. That's why he's giving it back to me so I can have a go. He's got an OMP M2 to try next.

I like mine. I’m using a 14sg. In regards to switching back from 3D to 6G, it won’t unless you go to zero throttle and spool down. It switches from 6G to 3D no problem. The main shaft bearings are not very good and load up with debris fairly fast. I replaced them with a higher quality sealed bearing so I don’t have to clean them out every 12 flights. If they are dirty the rpm fluctuates and the Heli gets all jittery in yaw and collective is very hard to hover at a set altitude. . For the price it’s not bad and it really is fun to fly.

Great video. I want to order this model for the E6 transmitter as much as the heli itself. I am hoping to bind my XK A430 (with S-FHSS protocol) to the E6 transmitter. The tx bundled with the A430 plane is pretty toy grade.

"3D6G modes to change stabilisation at the flick of a switch" can you confirm if you can switch between modes during flight not LANDED then SWITCH?

This thing is awesome especially for the 💰. I just started flying with a blade nano s2. It is super hard to fly in 3d. I've heard it's easier to fly larger models so I bought a wltoys v950 fur short money. I can't wait to be good enough to buy one of these.

ok they are not at all crash proof do not buy one an absolute nightmare it will end up broke one setting wrong it will plummet to the ground (From only 6ft high in my case) and bits fly off everywhere then u have the issue of waiting a month for parts they come then you realize they don't give you sufficient tools to replace anything at all then now you have spent loads of cash and you have no support at all NIGHTMARE FROM HELL....

Lee Palmer is right. Junk as far as durability. Man gear is a joke (keep a bag of them). No way is this easy to fly. It’s twitchy as hell and way too powerful for a beginner. Crash proof!?....that was funny. Stay away from this thing unless your’e very advanced or you’ve got nothing better to do than fix it and wait for parts. Friendly advice. Need to rethink your notion of beginner helis chaps. Cheers.

Always going to be the way with direct drive as the motor needs to spin up and down extremely fast and it needs a small prop to do this.
