I go to every avenged concert that comes to my area, and they absolutely kill it every time. It's just like you said, they are 100% crowd pleasers, and they bring the energy every time. Often times they even sound better live than they do in their studio albums, which is insane. I love this band with all my heart, and I couldn't recommend them enough for you to go see. If you like this kind of music at all, it's completely worth it.

I saw them back in 2000 something at one of the OzzFests in Sacramento, CA. They were far and away my favorite band of the day. Disturbed was good, System Of A Down was cool, but Avenged Sevenfold just brought the stage energy, incredible live sound, and pure fun and enjoyment with no bullshit.

one of my great friends dad' is a world renown jazz musician. when you ask him about Avenged Sevenfold, he is beside himself. Every time i see him, and they come on the playlist, he will go off about how they are the most talented and future proof rock/metal band of all time. i try to bring coheed and cambria up, but he won't have it. this guy has run with steely dan and christopher cross as a studio and tour musician, and he believes that we will still be talking about Avenged 100 years from now. They are epic, but in ways that tick boxes for casual listeners and serious musicians alike. i tend to agree with him, since i don't know any Avenged Sevenfold album that i didn't like. Nightmare is my absolute favorite, but i dont discriminate.

Excellent review. My fave band. I saw them a couple years ago with my other 2 all time faves Breaking Benjamin and Bullet for my Valentine. The show was amazing. They def care about fans. Synyster Gates is such a great guitarist. They gave it all on the stage! Check out the other 2 live. You would enjoy it!

During the Hail to the King tour, I saw them with Hellyeah and Adrenaline Mob opening. The show was fucking amazing. At one point while A7X was on, one of the fill lights died, so they stopped playing and M Shadows was like "I'm not sure what to do now, I don't know any jokes I could tell." Somebody up in front held up a plate that he signed, and he goes "This is what happens, i can't tell any jokes so I end up signing dishware." After a couple of minutes, they went ahead with playing with half the lights off. Later on a girl tossed some panties up at Sinister Gates, and he and Zacky tossed them around for a bit between songs, and Shadows between songs wrapped them up on Sinisters' mic, "So he can sniff them while he sings."

I live in Vegas. Since 2005 if A7X was in Vegas or any state that touched my state, I went to the show. For YEARS. They put on a balls to the wall show everytime. Their live performances are legendary

I went too as many hardcore/metal shows with my bro in high school as I could... We were opposites at the time as I was into hip hop and rap. I grew up listening to Zeplin, Skynard, the rest as I call them... 60's, 70's, 80's rock. I was the only one in PA at that time going to shows in a fitted hat and some Timbs. Lol. I loved/still love the music, and I loved the energy of the shows, the people, everything! First moshpits, first singing on mic at a concert(yes Atreyu in Lancaster or Reading PA.
