The legend would be false. Johnny is not one of the founding members of the band although he's been around since the beginning. A7X had 3 bassists before Johnny. He is a leader though. He's a great song writer and he's helped elevate them to the level that they're at now.

Awesome interview! Avenged Sevenfold was the very first band I seen in concert in 2012 when I was 16 along with Ghost who I also absolutely love and I had never loved a band like I loved A7x and I still love them, my taste has evolved and grew a ton but I still fucking love them. They really introduced me to the metal genre and ultimately shaped me and my entire music taste through the years. This really brought up a lot of nostalgia and memories. There was so much... Metal in 2020 is... Depressing.
