Tofu is a versatile, soy-based bean curd that can go in your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. Plus, you can always add it to any vegetarian or vegan meal for a little extra protein.
Douhua, 豆花、豆腐脑, is a Chinese snack made with very soft tofu. It's is delicate and pudding-like and almost melts on the tongue, also referred to as tofu pudding and soybean pudding. It is quite neutral and can be match both with sweet tastes and savory tastes.
Sweet tofu dessert with a silky smooth wobbly texture drenched in ginger syrup.

We have our own version of this in Philippines. We call it "taho". We usually put caramelized sugar and topioca pearls in it and usually eaten/drink it during in the morning. It became our tradition to chase the taho vendor during morning bcs it gets easily sold out.

In my country we called it “tào phớ”. It’s usually sell at specific store along with some snack or on the street at night. I really love it 😍

in chinese it's called "豆花",it's not "tofu", but sounds like "dou hua", it seems we almost call it in a very similar way

Wedang tahu...some also say tahok. It is so sweet, gingery, smooth, and warm. Eaten early in the morning or for lazy rainy days 🤤

In my country, we usually eat tofu with white bubble which is cooked with ginger and brown suger. I've never tried tofu with dried mushroom before but I'm gonna give it a shot :))) Thanks chef 😊😊

Here in the Philippines, hot silken tofu with caramelized brown sugar syrup is a staple for breakfast. We call it taho and it is served hot by the hawker. Kids love it and adults too.
