since you've tried pb & j, try adding a banana to the sandwich. or since you're in Korea and one of the main staples there is pork, have the members try an American classic of a BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich with mayo) and see how the cast members goes for that....

The peanut butter sandwiches you add one of the other toppings, you don't mix them. LOL. Peanut butter and marshmallow, peanut butter and banana, things like that. And chips are put into savory sandwiches like a ham and cheese sandwich. And only little kids do that really. Although most people will eat the PB&J with potato chips on the side.

As a child, I loved peanut butter sandwiches. And bananas. I saw my dad make a mayo and lunchmeat sandwich everyday before work. Naturally, as a child wanting to be like him, but not wanting to give up my version I asked for a Peanut Butter, Mayo and Banana white bread sandwich. Yes, I liked it. :) It was delicious. I have since tried it years later. It is gross to me now. ^_^'

If you want chicken and waffles in Korea, you have to go to Pyeongtaek, where the big American Army base (Camp Humphries) is. Just a couple minute walk outside the main gate is a place called JJ’s American Diner. They have chicken and waffles , and some awesome hamburgers as well.

Hi there! Southerner here! My Grandfather and I would do the peanuts and coke while working on the farm together when I was younger. It keeps your snack clean so that you can munch on peanuts and drink your soda at the same time while still taking care of the animals and fences and field garden and things. You would have to actually pause for a break to eat the peanuts separately.

To be fair, I've put chips on a variety of sandwiches and it adds a nice salty crunch to whatever you're eating. I've probably only put it on a Peanutbutter and Honey sandwich like once or twice but if you're not for odd or mixed textures in food you might enjoy it more with a savory meal like a ham or turkey sandwich that already has some form of crunch on it (i.e. pickles, lettuce or other greens, etc). Basically, if you're willing to eat a sandwich with chips (or crisps or what have you), why not put it all together?

I am 47 years old and I've never heard of a banana and mayo sandwich, nor a gummy bear sandwich, I live in the south. Have them try things like boiled peanuts or peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Why even mention chicken and waffles and ask them how they'd rate it never having tried it. Another great sandwich for them to try would be the Monta Cristo. It's a deep fried sandwich and every recipes different lots of different flavor combos inside topped with powdered suger and blueberries or maple syrup... Bar none the best sandwich ever created.

There are so many different types of Monte Cristo, and each one tastes totally different. But if you get a well-made one -- the one that's fully batter dipped, deep fried, and covered in powdered sugar -- mmmmmm. My favorite sandwich! It's also probably the most unhealthy sandwich you could possibly make, but if you're going to die anyway, may as well die with a mouth full of happiness.

At least 4 different types of cheese and several types of meat. By far the best deep fried sandwich I'd ever had. The other Monte Cristo I'd had was in Tulsa and it was my second favorite there weren't any frills per se but it was covered in syrup and powdered sugar. The meat was all very high quality and the cheeses were amazing as well. So anyway I don't know factually if these deep fried sandwiches would be actual Monte Cristo's but that's what they were called. Any place I go to that has them on the menu I give them a try.

I’m about to change some lives with two of the best PB&J’s ever..... - toast bread - butter both sides - peanut butter both sides - add jelly/jam of choice to one side and close - smile with glee as you enjoy epic pb&j Second one I had at a catered breakfast conference and my life was never the same.... - take two slices of banana bread - peanut butter one side, and strawberry jam or preserves on the other - enjoy something that sounds weird but tastes like it was prepared by baby angels

Elvis never put bacon on his pb&j, that's just a myth. The Elvis is basically peanut butter and sliced bananas on Wonder Bread, then you melt a stick of butter in a skillet and toast it in the pan like you would a grilled cheese sandwich.

I'm feeling you when you're demanding Nutella instead of mayo for that banana open-face sandwich. That sounds about right. Also, I've never seen a fruit + mayo combo. I have seen mayo instead of cream cheese in savory finger (tea) sandwiches such as cucumber, and I've seen cream cheese + fruit sandwiches, but I've never seen mayo + fruit. Mayo in the savory ones is okay, but cream cheese remains the better option.

Jelly, like Jam is a fruit spread, the difference between the two is that Jelly is made from fruit juice and Jam is made from fruit pulp.
