Some good examples of celebrity castings are Sylvester Stallone and Peter Weller returning to voice Robocop and Rambo. They had genuine care for these characters that built their careers and gave a amazing performances that was almost like they never left. John Cena as Peacemaker in MK1 sounds like he's having a blast and his line delivery is hilarious. Willem Dafoe in Beyond Two Souls gave a great performance as well and acted his heart out. Matt Ryan as Edward Kenway in Assassins Creed 4 was also a great performance. Imo its when they hire the best actor or celebs with prior experience for their character it ends up working

Man Crackdown 3 hurt, the first is a masterpiece and the second one was a spit in the face. I was hype for Crackdown 3 yet EVERY piece of information I heard about it for the DECADE it was in development was a red flag. “Every inch of the environment is destructible, it’s routed to a cloud server running 24/7 to compute all the data” My brother in Christ, I cannot imagine how they thought this was possible enough to ANNOUNCE. When they finally DID implement it into the game, it was secluded to a shitty PvP mode where none of the environments have textures and it’s just a holographic arena 😭

Actually that "side mission" where you kill Conor McGregor isn't a side mission, It just happens during the main story during the moon mission, but it gets no significant attention so people often miss it. I missed it the first time. Also call of Duty infinite warfare had Aaron Hamilton, a NASCAR driver a part of your crew. Also quite random

When it comes to Ark 2, it seems that it was originally gonna be a story driven game but after all the fan backlash it seems they are changing it back to what Ark 1 was like. So Vin Diesel probably will get shifted to the side.

why do people notice cash grab celebrities in games so quickly but not having Brand Cars in racing games that are practically playable adveetisement games.. those things have killed the one genre that made me enjoy videogames
