@@TailsR1984 Haha true, the early PS1 era was a pure testing grounds. Many games that were coming out were the coolest looking things we'd ever seen(the ads for Perfect Weapon made it look amazing).. but nearly all of them either controlled like shit, or they were boring, or they were janky... or they were Perfect Weapon which is all three and worse(it's the type of game that makes an 8 hour shift on the factory floor feel like a fun and engaging process by comparison). Time Commando at least had the WWI segment which was pretty cool for the time.

Has anyone seen the movie The Perfect Weapon? It's got nothing to do with this. It seemed to be a vanity project by some guy called Jeff who does martial arts, in which he played some guy called Jeff who does martial arts, and he's on a quest to avenge... 🤷♂️ Cop brother I think... 🤔 Jeff who does martial arts - ably performed by Jeff who does martial arts - is a bit of a keen detective. He goes to a dojo looking for information and asks this guy if he knows about... 🤷♂️ Stuff; does he know about stuff. The guy says no, so Jeff who does martial arts says "what if I kicked your ass?". So they fight, and because Jeff who does martial arts wins, the guy gives him information about stuff. 🕵️ Also somebody involved in the production - presumably Jeff who does martial arts - *really* liked the song "I've Got The Power"...

This was the second game that I’d played on the Playstation in 1996 when I was in high school. Even though I was not too fond of the game, I still tried to beat it. I didn’t succeed at doing so, but it was quite the experience for as bad as it was. I am surprised that you haven’t made a “What Happened?” episode on this game. It must be made. The developers of the game were called Gray Matter, who had made 8-bit and 16-bit games in the past. This game “Perfect Weapon” was the first that they’d made for the Playstation (that explains quite a bit).

This game gives me some weird hidden trauma feels. Like the music mixed with the icy landscape seems distantly familiar, but at the same time I can't get a grasp of the memory. Maybe I actually played this back in the day? Could it be? Makes sense for my mind to bury it deep if it really happened. EDIT: This is so bizarre! I'm fairly sure I've played this as a kid, but I have absolutely no memory of this!! And I can remember some everything I played even as a toddler on NES!

If i remember this game had a contest where you can win by putting your face in the game? My guess a jpeg of your face on a npc. oh The Crow game... yeah that game got tank controls too, but maybe worst as the moves are like realistic slow, like you know how amateurs or seeing slow warm-ups martial arts moves? That mostly The Crow gameplay and mocapping feels like. A first timer doing slow round house kicks. Funny I think a fixed camera beat'em up can work, they just need the gameplay be just like Onimusha.
