A turbo uses exhaust gas to turn the turbine which needs high rpm to activate. With a supercharger since it is belt driven activates at a lower rpm and is always there if you will. I do a lot of trail riding and wanted power right now since they are way more responsive. Plus I can't stand the sound of a blow off valve all the time.

Did you happen to do a write up on the build on any of the forum's? I bought a "new" Reeper from a bankruptcy auction and am in the process of doing a full build. I've had turbo cars and hate them. I stumbled on your video and it's exactly what I wanted to do.

What lead you to use a supercharger vs. a turbocharger? Looking at buying the Oreion Reeper 4-door and want to increase its power from the start.

Have had zero issues with the drive train. I have been running at 10 psi for years. This engine is bulletproof.

Ive been hard pressed on these and the renli’s. If heard that they are not built tuff compared to a rzr or can am. I really want to swap in a 300hp ecotec GM engine in one of these and have a blast. You think it would hold to the severe abuse?

Chery Engines are used in MANY vehicles AND in John Deere Tractors !! . I love my Reeper !! I've never had a problem with the motor or tranny since I boughy Reeper in 2013 !!. Only thing that has happened to the motor was the Timing Belt tentioner went bad. $40 and less than an hour of labor later, I installed a New Timing Belt, Water pump and Tentioner !!. Zero issues after that !!!. And believe me !! I run this thing HARD AS I CAN !! I climb HUGE Hills and "Race" it almost Weekly !!. We're big into "Off-road" Trailing and between my Reeper and my Range Rover, We keep the trails Burnt Up !!. Don't worry about these little Motors !! I'd gladly install one in anything I have if I had the chance !!.
