I noticed Seider and Chiarot in this game both position themselves as "center" defensemen. No wonder they didn't work together. Glad they're both playing better on different lines

I'm from the future and we did not keep up the physical play. Chiarot played semi-injured for a while and became invisible most nights. Wings got bullied and it was tough to watch at times. Though we have suffered, greatness awaits. LGRW

With Mo mocking the "Matthews" celly, and the general feel of this game, I really hope Detroit v Toronto becomes a major rivalry again. Back to the old Norris division glory days.

Love the aggressive play by the Wings. A very good effort tonight. You can tell Bertuzzi's back. This game could've gone in any number of directions. But, the Wings earned this one. Way to go boyz, a great win, against a good team.

Larkin is close to a ppg for the 2nd straight season, Raymond is looking great with 13 pts in last 11 games, Seider is always solid, Berggren is having a good rookie campaign. Söderblom and Edvinsson are probably full time NHLers next year. Kasper and Wallinder are doing great in the SHL. Mastrosimone, Mazur and Lombardi putting up good numbers too. Future sure is bright

You guys do realize that Larkin's contract negotiations with Yzerman aren't going great right? Bert is almost definitely gone by the deadline. Wings are looking way better but this ride isn't over yet.

Walman, Hronek and Charot showed a lot of grit and got in some faces tonight. This is the kind of aggressive nasty team D the team needs against elite teams. Let's use THIS game as the model to shoot for.

THAT was a playoff type of game I love seeing the Wings play. Every single one of them was switched on. Except for that Larkin own goal, we could have very easily shut out the Ample Laffs. 5:27 - That tic-tac-toe sequence between Seider, Veleno to Erne was filthy. If it was any other winger receiving that puck, good chance that was in the back of the net.

Red Wings have won 18 games through 40 games this year, the sane amount at this point last season as well. It went downhill bad shortly after. I don't think that happens again unless Husso gets injured long term.

Detroit player stick broke on a shot from the point, said player kept his stick for a couple second and tried to play the puck with it then dropped it. It's an automatic penalty to not drop a broken stick immediately

@@MisterHQc he didnt know it was broke and dropped it immediately when told to. Embellishment is spodtuh be a penalty, wings went to the box more than once for a pathetic leaf falling over while turning tightling and leaning on a wing whos stick clearly wasnt in their skates

You could definitely tell Walman has been watching Cale Makar haha. Even when he was traded here last season you could see him trying the blue line shuffle but now this year he's actually pulled it off a few times and one time leading to a goal. He's 26 and most defensemen come into their prime around 27-29 so he could really be something special. He's certainly shown flashes of it. I'm even impressed with his defensive game aswell, like he could actually be a huge shut down force. All in all, great game for our boys.
