Red Wings fans always travel well. We love our hockey team. I do miss old Joe Louis Arena for home games though. Little Cæsars Arena just isn’t the same. There’s a reason the Red Wings and their fans got the nickname “Hockeytown” after all.

I’m from Detroit and a big Wings fan but let’s be honest, it’s not like the NHL officially appointed that name to Detroit & the Wings. Personally, I have a love-hate relationship with it.

@@zacka45 The last time one of our guys did something he got a 6-game suspension, and our fan base was more upset that Perron retaliated against the wrong guy then seeing their Captain unconscious face down on the ice. Red Wing fans need to remember that it's Detroit V Everybody and start defending their players that retaliate against this type of stuff. Until then, why would any player step up into the role of "face puncher"?

Don't know how you manage to do this, but thanks for putting these highlight vid's together, as they're a joy to wake up to each morning . What a west coast swing it's been thus far for our Red Wings! A sweep of the California teams which hasn't been done in 16 year. They're looking better and better all the itime. Were it not for Anaheim's goalie and the multitude of power play chances they were awarded by the ref's, this game would not have been as close as it was. I'd argue the winning score should have been 5 - 3 or 6 -4, as Lyon made a few unbelievable saves himself.

Good game I was there sea of red and white jerseys we definitely took over So cal. Let's go wings! Duck fans mad at the rasusman goal saying he kicked it. I said no kicking motion, you can redirect the puck with skate period, however a win is a win.

I don't know why some Ducks fans say Veleno's goal shouldn't have counted. They show it go directly into the net and tuck behind the post. As for Rasmussen's goal, the motion he made with his foot was done before the puck hit it. The motion wasn't made on the puck.

This new Annaheim strategy to injure the opposing stars is pretty effective. Hopefully other teams can start using this strategy. Goal scorers are really hard to stop, but they can't score if they can't skate

Why does the league never suspended anybody when someone cheap shots Larkin. It’s always dumb minors. I could list 3 examples of times there should have been suspensions. I have a theory is that he is a good player but he’s no mcdavid so the league doesn’t protect him.
