Can we all just take a moment to appreciate awood? This guy always makes the best highlights out there, way better than NHL’s. We see fights, the important plays, the goals and many other things unlike the NHL with a few good saves and the goals.

Free over the air Red Wings games. What a time. What a great time. That 5 inch TV with the broken antenna and the headphone jack… no logins or blackouts or buffering streams. You almost forget there was a time where not every game was broadcast.

You know it's a 90s game when you see the Farmer Jack and K-Mart ads on the boards at The Joe.

Love watching these older game highlights. Thanks for the hard work putting these together sir. Back then they played hockey and not the ice dancing version of hockey we see now. 👍

This sounds like something a slow has-been would say. Just cause you can't keep up with the pace of play doesn't make it any less hockey ;)

Look at this future front office/broadcast team/familiar face in the commercials between plays

Can never go wrong if we're starting with Ray Lane... Also, the blast of the horn on McCarty's goal is what LCA needs back...

“Possibly a preview of the first round of the upcoming playoffs” Good call (Also, WPG had a chance to finish 4th and avoid DET, but lost game 82 at Anaheim)

Absolutely insane how low that glass used to be. Those people would be asking to get nailed each game.

He was a genius on the ice. If you watch Wings playoff highlights, he’s always on the ice at the most important times

They were learning lessons with the old horn the same way they need to learn lessons with the new one. Let it breathe for half a second. The blasts don’t need to be one right on top of the other. Doing a little bit better today than last year And roughly equivalent to this era for this game. Just let it breathe a little bit. We’ve got a great horn now. Not as good as the old one… But great.
