I was one of those boomer’s who thought Johnny was so cute back in 1959, I was 10, just 3 yrs younger than himself. I didn’t know he was a good singer, it’s like seeing him young and then, old, like myself. Life went too fast for us boomer’s! RIP, sweet Johnny. ♥️🌹

A wonderful video. Thank you.. The Rifleman is one of my most favorite TV shows. It is encapsulated with the simple word "paw"... I do not think there is anything more Americana than "paw".... Crawford really was a great actor and it is surreal to watch his life pass from a child to senior in a one hour video. It really makes one ponder life and how quickly it passes. By all accounts the man lived a good and happy life. He indeed made a legacy and for that I think we are all better for it.

A very special celebration of life of JOhnny! So happy to see it. Thank you very much to the family and wife to offer this wonderful event to the public and fans. At 48 years old watching movies and tv series. Haven`t seen an actor as charismatic and emotional. He is the best child actor of all times, like Steve mentions! He always puts more attention to others than himself. He had all the qualities to be a top adult actor star and singer! If only he would have been more greedy and asking for favors! But that wasn`t Johnny Crawford... We could have seen more of him on tv and the movies. But happily he found purpose and joy in his orchestra Bravo Johnny! An amazing person, Super human to others, kind and so polite to everyone. He loved people so much. He comes from a wonderful family is niece is so nice and sincere talking about him and everyone, including fans being so kind to him. He has a super smile , he is so beautifull . I am a father of one boy , love him so much hand hope to enjoy the rifleman soon with my son next to me..... Love you johnny and Charlotte and family

What a beautiful tribute to Johnny. Speaking of Hugh Hefner, Playboy Enterprises produced Johnny's 1973 film "The Naked Ape", which I believe is coming to Blu Ray (I don't think it was over on tape or DVD). Back in 1973-74 Johnny made a film here in British Columbia titled "The Inbreaker", co-starring Christopher George. The film is one I have been trying to see for decades but seems to have fallen off the face of the planet. The people who produced and edited it used to own the movie theater I went to growing up!

Such a loss, of a marvelous entertainer, musician, and actor. Met him on set of his last film, _Bill Tilghman and the Outlaws_ which was renamed to _The Marshall._ Filmed on Director Wayne Shipley's farm in WVA, where Wayne created a western town just for the film. Johnny did some trick roping for us and singing off screen during breaks. All my role models and heroes gathered in one place. Man what a time! 😆👍🙏👏

Johnny Crawford was perfect as Lucas McCain's son. His acting was excellent, and his gentle nature shone through every episode. "Mark" was the friend so many fans wish they had growing up. I just found out that he had passed away 2 years ago and was greatly saddened. I told my older sisters and they expressed how much they loved Johnny on that show. Rest in Peace Johnny. Thank you!
