Is there a time allotment between when the image is created in the device and when it’s sent to the cloud? If not, this could be an issue with data being shared prematurely with insurance agencies which could then potentially affect future rates for the people who own these devices. They should be the ones who own their own data and decide when / if it gets encrypted then sent to the cloud for processing.
