I started calling in more provider men and woman. I was meeting a new man...not sure if it was for dating or friendship but 30 min in he offered to pay a massage for me as I was stressed with my new house. .. although I always wanted this..I was so shocked that I laughed it off and although my mind was saying yes...my body felt wierd (cse I was not used to it) .... This is true. My husband loves spoiling me. Every week he says, “what can I do for you honey? Can I buy you anything? At first I would say (when we were bf/gf) “no thank you I already have your card I can just go and get it.” For him that was like pushback because although his money goes into my bank account, he still wanted to take me to the stores himself and feel proud to physically go and spend on me and see the excitement in me. I just let him lead because it excites him to see me happy.

​@@teresalukasiak9027 some who've had trauma will find it difficult to move this way. You would have to feel safe. What helped me is increasing my faith. I started to believe that I could shift into being softer and that God will protect me everytime. The reasons that come up for you not to shift are all coming from your brain, not your heart. The brain is wired to keep you doing and believing the same thing. Ask yourself, whats the worse that could happen if I try this out for a while? Ask yourself, if this works for others and they get treated how I'd prefer, why can't I have it? After asking myself these questions I realized I put all the limitations on myself because I was fearful of being treated poorly as I've been in the past.

So then, I go all in for all you are saying and agree, I was once this way, but how then can I teach my son, that when a man in a song or on TV, or in real life is doing something wrong he should not emulate that man, as a mother? How do I bring balance there, especially as a single mother? For example, their father is charismatic, and attractive and easily garners both sympathy and praise, but also destructive privately and publically in his narcissism. My kids can see, and feel, and have lived through the destruction, and have nightmares about things he's done, then he tries to convince them it never happened like he did to me when we were married and puts on his fun dad face, and says it was really Mommy, and he was the victim to the kids and our past friend circle, even my family 5 years post break up, which has isolated me and the kids. My son said, "I saw what he did. I know what he's saying is not true but I still sometimes want to believe him". And like all kids, all is forgiven but the nightmares and concerning drawings don't stop. How do I strike that balance of not denying what they have seen, and what we've all experienced, and addressing their questions, yet walking the line of not criticizing? How do I teach and bring context to what they see and identify it as wrong without saying, it is wrong, this is not how men should treat their children, and the mother of those children especially when they haven't been together for years, so please don't emulate this (my son) don't allow or choose this (my daughter). How do I get out of the fear that they will emulate and choose this, so I can not bring it about through that fear? It's like part of me knows all I have to do is fall back into my feminine to illustrate this and make it more about me and less about teaching, and not at all about him, but they bring him up and what he did all the time, and I just dont know how to navigate how I want to show up as my feminine, and how to teach at the same time... I want my daughter... and my son to grow up seeing me sink into my feminine in almost every minute of the day, like I did before.

I absolutely love and agree and find truth in everything about polarity. But the car wash / scratch story is so difficult bc even if it wasn’t a brother , but it was let’s say my female friend who is one of my close friends, or my own sister who scratched the car… I wouldn’t necessarily cry or show panic, but I would speak up. So this example is a tricky one. Of course since it’s your younger brother and you’re practically raising him to be healthy masculine, you have these extreme restraints. But what about if you’re a woman, and a fellow woman does this? So we can show our horror to them but not to a man? What if a grown adult (not 13 yr old) 30s 40s 50s man scratched the woman’s car using a metal sponge 🧽? At what point can we let the grown man know that a more proper sponge might be this other one that isn’t metal 😅

Alexis!!! I've been craving to watch one of your videos omg. My guiding affirmation for this year is "I step back into alignment with myself". I had a huge breakthrough the other day when I suddenly realised the root of all the 'stuck-ness' I feel is because a lot of my actions don't line up with my core beliefs, who I truly am. I feel that this year is about me coming back to centre - returning to church, spending a lot more time doing MY hobbies, releasing anxiety and limiting beliefs, and allowing myself to come alive again. :)) Sidenote: My partner and I just moved houses - This house is actually one of my desires I wrote down last year. In this crazy rental market we managed to land a 3 bedroom house (not apartment! a HOUSE) with a big kitchen & big backyard. There's room for a garden, there's room for all our pets, and room enough for if we start a family in the next few years. These are all specific things I wrote down after watching one of your videos last year. I've been so in my masculine during the move, just getting things done... So today, I'm gonna drop into my body and ENJOY IT.

One more point towards your point at the end. I told my husband I like the way it makes me feel when he opens the car door for me and when he drives Vs me driving when we go places it makes me feel good, feel feminine when my man takes care of me. I must be saying it wrong because he hates that I feel this way about the car. He says it like I’m too dependent on him. Like what would I do if I didn’t have him? Would I crash and burn. Is telling me he prefers a more independent woman? I need advice on this one. Or is my husband just missing something in himself with this one? Last time it came up he put it in air quotes, “you not thinking about me here, you just want me to do this cause it makes you “feel good””. Finally I said “yes, yea babe. It makes me feel good.” “What’s wrong with that? Why is that a problem for you?”
