I've never seen any other artist so caring and appreciative of his fans. From his very first success till his untimely death he always mentioned the fans. Most of the very biggest stars never mention the fans, let along show any appreciation. George was something unique and very special. Rather like Princess Diana an angel sent to earth. George's candour will also live on thanks to YT. When most stars are big egos who say what's expected. George gave us honesty, you could trust what he said, no bullshit. He didn't need BS because his talent was stratospheric. The rest need bs and hype and lies. Such a terrible loss for the world. A good man. RIP with your dear mum and sister.

Yeah, pneumonia can be deadly. I say that because some people confuse "walking" pneumonia with the severe types, and can look on it like a type of flue. The type George had was obviously devastated and he's definitely not exaggerating when talking about how he nearly died. In fact, he should not of even been doing this interview as it can take a year for the lungs to fully recover, if at all, - who can say that this episode didn't take such a toll that it hastened his early death later on.... but it says something about the man that while he can barely breath he still took time out to address the reporters (who haven't been exactly kind to him) and his many concerned fans. A legend and sadly missed.

It touched me to see him cry and obviously weak and uncomfortable. Understandably, everyone wanted to hear a word from him, but I found myself wanting to tell everyone to just leave him alone, please, and allow him rest . Gosh, I felt so bad for George, he's struggling to get a deep breath in this interview!! I'm glad he lived from the bout of pneumonia & tried to heal from his tracheotomy. That's not easy. I remember his song, "White Light" & it was a good a good recollection of what happened in his coma. Good video too! That's terrifying to know what he went through!!
