Hell yeah, that is very close! Only thing I'd argue is your tone is better than his 😂 What cab did you use?
@PaulHeading2 жыл бұрын
It’s just a tone match block rather than a Cab block - I couldn’t find a cab that could get that close even with loads of EQ. Thanks 😊

I tried to convert this to use on my axe iii, but I don’t get any sound when I transfer it over? Every other preset worked when converted (Metallica garage inc, and AJFA) any ideas?
@PaulHeading5 жыл бұрын
I’ve had an issue where a preset has randomly reduced the output down to -24, so check the master output section first. Other than that it could be a conversion issue maybe? Maybe post it your question to the forum if you have no luck. Thanks
@ryanpeerson46245 жыл бұрын
Paul Heading I found the issue! It was in the noise gate. There was a section that had to be changed to “In-1”

And thanks for the amazing presets! Do you take requests? I would be happy to donate.

Ryan Peerson Hi, I’m very happy to give anything a go-just drop me an email at paulheading@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do. Glad you found the problem, would never have guessed it would be the noise gate!

sounds killer, how can i get it for amplitube 4?
@PaulHeading6 жыл бұрын
I'm not familiar with that software but it looks like it has a standard amp model which is based on a JMP-1 which is what you need. You'll need to EQ it A LOT though - it's an unusual EQ response, but as a general rule, you need to reduce around 120Hz, 220Hz and maybe 500Hz, and boost around 4-6k. I doubt the stompbox EQ will be that great so if you have an EQ in your DAW that would probably be better. You can use this video as a guide-just keep doing A/B tests and it will get you very close I think. Good luck! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqDEZpyno9mCd7s

Is it possible to replicate this tone on BIAS FX II?
@PaulHeading3 жыл бұрын
I’m not familiar with BIAS FX but from what I can see on their website you could select an map like the VH4 and pair it with a T75 cab to get close. You’ll need to EQ it very carefully though, depending on your guitar and pickups.

Hey what kinda processing did you do on these takes?
@PaulHeading4 жыл бұрын
Just a stock Logic compressor with light compression (no auto gain). Just smoothes the signal out a little. Thanks 😊

I have an actual JMP-1 how do you suggest I set it up to get this tone?
@PaulHeading6 жыл бұрын
That's tough to answer as I know the JMP-1 doesn't have detailed EQ controls. However, if you use OD-2, cut bass and middle to 0 or 1 and then boost presence a bit I think you would get quite close. If you have an EQ pedal that would be a massive help as you need to cut a lot from the 220Hz and 500Hz range, as well boost around 4-6k Hz. I'm pretty sure Steph was using Celestion K100s or T75s at this point as well so if you have those in your cab that would also help significantly. You can also use this video to A/B test your tone kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqDEZpyno9mCd7s Good luck :)

@@PaulHeading I'll be running it into an orange can with v30s and T75s. Thanks for the help! I'll be looking for a good eq pedal now
@StayFreshMyFriends6 жыл бұрын
I've determined that Stef most likely used the ADA MQ1 Midi Equalizer for what you are saying. It has the frequency ranges you listed (250, 500, 4k, and 6.3k) Since he used the ADA MP1 on adrenaline I'm guessing he had access to this EQ. I'm gonna pick one up as soon I can. Common EQ pedals don't have the right frequencies
@PaulHeading6 жыл бұрын
cave digger That would certainly make sense-hopefully with that equipment you can get an exact match-best of luck :)
