The Blackfoot was my dads first RC car back in the 80s and got him into the hobby although I like the Blackfoot a lot, the lunchbox was the one that made me really like and get into the hobby and I must say yours look really nice as well. 👍

Oh yea I Agree, I love my Lunchbox, but this is definitely more driveable!

I've still got my one that i bought back in the 80's when i statted my first job. The part that keeps breaking you mentioned is the steering servo horn on the K part spur. I sprayed mine in white just to be different, didn't do a great paint job tbh, but hey it was all new to me at the time. Still have the original Acoms radio fitted and speed controller. The body has seen better days; I'm probably going to sell as i don't have the room. Great looking truck though.

Hi , is it twin motor like twin detonator ? If not how to change the motor from 27t to 12t ?

Can you swap out the gearbox and bones from the new truck to the old one I still have an 80s model in the garage would love to play again lol

There's some weird connection between skateboarding and RC cars. I've been skateboarding my entire life (now 41) but I'm obsessed with RC as well. What is it I wonder. Great video! I've got a vintage re-issue Hornet myself!

Completely agree, not sure what the connection is, but a lot of people have it! I have a Super Hornet that needs restored. Great looking cars! by the way,I'm also 41, lol. I am going to be getting back into skating soon. Gonna document my struggle getting back on the board! lol

Rad man! Yeah the hornet was my childhood mind melter.. had to get the re-release when it came out. Long story short - my hornet broke when I was 12 and my parents forced me to decide between keeping it and fixing it or letting me have my first pro skateboard. I went with a skateboard (cried a bit over the loss of the hornet) but kind of made a career out of skateboarding since then. When it got re-released I lossed my mind and had to have it again! I guess it taught me to appreciate stuff at a young age. RC can teach you life lessons! Good luck getting back on the board man.. skateboarding keeps you young. Never stop!

MIP sells a ball diff for the 2016 monster Beetle and Blackfoot. A dude named Matteo did a video on one in his Monster Beetle. I put one on a blackfoot and ran 3s lipo, lol. Search "Monster Beetle MIP Super Ball diff"
