I agree! I didn’t think the stock axial tires did that bad this time around! I would of picked the prolines as my favorite as well. Could see that they are way more supple, and really laid down its footprint! That fender cutout work and bumper cut off seemed to have made quite a difference as well! Really love your course, you did an amazing job with it! Have a blessed Memorial Day weekend brother!

3 things I noticed in this: 1: That body trim you did worked wonders on a few obstacles you have. 2. Those Canyon trails tires never fil to impress 3. The Proline tires seemed far and away the best to me, but I wonder how they will hold up after the foams start to break down?

Good observations! I do imagine all of the foams will break down over time. Sometimes, they just need replaced.

The stock tires surprised me in this test. From the first run, I was very dissappointed with them. They really didn't like the wet. I have not given up on them yet. My goal is to work on cutting them and seeing if they get better.

A lot of tires seem to do better once they're "broken in". Not sure at what point that is, I've heard a few battery packs through them. Factory tires usually leave something to be desired...always leaves room for upgrade. I've been a huge fan of Jconcepts tires on my crawlers.

@@RoadsideRC i ran hyrax and the bfg crawlers by proline for a while, and they need foams to be really good, but I’ve been using the jconcepts landmines recently and love them! Bought a set of hunks to try aswell since they’re on sale at amain.

I would save the $$$ and go with the Gen8. I have a whole playlist of mods I did to the Gen8. Truck really performs well.

Agree! Much happier with this setup now. I was concerned after the first run. It still hasn't conquered all of my obstacles yet (like my TRX4 Sport, ECTO, and Gladiator can) - but I will get it there!

Have you seen the proline bfgoodrich mk3? I run the 4.75 been thinking or getting some 4.19s. Not an awesome tread mud clearer but doesnt seem to matter

I’m not trying to tell you what todo but make it easier on you and better by doing the whole course with one set of tiresthen go back for another set so we can really see the difference

That is actually how I drive it - I then just chop it up on editing. Works either way for the video. Some folks like to see one tire the whole way through, then another. Some like to see the same obstacle back-to-back to get a better feel for how the tires perform on that obstacle.
