Thanks man. Ive donea few upgrades since this video. New ProLIne Trencher tires, and a Hobbywing Fusion motor/esc. World of difference.

Perfect tyre choice! Not a lot of rigs can get away with looking good on narrower tyres. But the tread pattern, softness and narrowness of the tyre, matched with the shape of the body on yours makes it absolutely amazing! Awesome work, good sir!

Thank you - I havent seen many Capras on narrow tires. It is a struggle in some situations (loose/dusty inclines) but is great in other situations and can ve very manuevrable. PitBull stock foams in front and Crawler Innovaations Medium foams in rear.

Awesome views...I really want to get a Capra.

Thanks - The Capra is really fun but I would recommend buying the kit to build rather than the RTR version. Nothing wrong with the RTR but I enjoy the build process.

@@grvtyboyRC I'm brand new to rc..just a couple scx24s. I agree with you. If I can figure out which electronics to use, I will go for the kit. The portal axles and compact cage design really apeal to me. Any advice you can give for kit completion components?

@@brianonthego The best place to start is to join a couple Facebook groups for Capra owners and ask/search in those group as everyone asks the same questionsso there's bound to be answers already posted for you - Motor and ESC combinations that people like...etc. Also the www.rccrawler.com/forum/ is another great place to get information. have fun

I just bought a brand new set of these from a friend for $40. I love the Rock Beast so couldn’t pass them up. I just put them on my. Capra today with CI Lil Nova’s and must say they did excellent on the rocks. You still running yours? I actually like the way they look on the Capra, actually better than the Landmines I had on it previously. I think they work just as good, if not better. Great Video.

Thanks James - They are great in certain circumstances but sometimes I do want wider tires so there's always a trade off.

What is that tube thing coming off the fuel tank? Is that a diy or is it something i can find somewhere?
@grvtyboyRC2 жыл бұрын
The thin rubber (yellow) tubing was just something I found around the house. I was really trying to find something on-line and never did. Probably only 2.5-3mm diameter hollow tubing and just fit directly onto the fuel cell. For the larger filler tube for the fuel cell, most people use clear or black water tube from home depot. (for a home water filter system or gardening supplies)
