what up, I got the link riser from Shapeways, same think in plastic, and you loose a tiny bit of travel when you are on the highest hole on the riser since your link hits the fuel cell, you can notch the fuel cell were it hits or use the 3d printed fuel cell to get rid of the problem. I think the links being higher helps a tiny bit, I have had it in for about a month, not sure about the servo mount, no flex usually equals breakage, let us know a month from now.. keep I up

Wow upgrades already! Looks like some great components!

Yeah, after that first run, I saw some places where it could be improved. That being said... these improvements are just nitpicky for improving the performance at the places I crawl at. It's already way easier to drive than my scale rigs at the places I run. I'm just using this rig to run more difficult lines.

Those parts look tough, very good worthwhile upgrades. I am sure it will add a lot to the performance of this vehicle. Good step by step.

They definitely did! They kept my front-end planted during the most recent run! - kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3Soh2N_a6yrrrs

Surprisingly enough their was alot of flex in the stock servo mount. Excellent upgrade nicely done👍👍👍🤔

Yep, it is what it is. It's plastic and it's an on-axle servo mount, so there isn't chassis bracing like a chassis mounted servo. This should definitely help when you have high torque servos.

Hey man! Always appreciate when you stop by. The riser helps. I got a chance to run it over the weekend. I'll post up the run on Thursday when I finish editing it.

Nice! The servo mount is a must have! I’m curious to hear how the rear link riser works out. My riser has been on order for a couple weeks now and I can’t wait to get it.

I agree, it's definitely a must have. I ran with the riser yesterday, and it looks to have helped on a particular line. The run will be posted up on Thursday.

Hope you had a good Xmas mate.. everything seem to fit real good and solid on the Capra... So the million dollar question is when will you have a run and verdict video up on the link riser? Very keen to find out. Cheers and Happy New Year if you dont post beforehand. 👍👍

Hey thanks for checking the vid out. I did get a chance to run it over the weekend. I'll be posting the running video up on Thursday. In short, it did help. There is a certain line I run at CDM where the front didn't lift and stayed down better than it did when I ran it last time.

@@RevolutionX cool man! As always another reason for me to look forward to Friday's in Australia (your Thursday). That CDM that you run at looks awesome, thanks for doing tests runs there, as its easier for us viewers to see how your truck's are performing on a build or change.. Cheers mate 👍
