That PreRunner bumper from Scalerfab looks fantastic! Stock, but modified. Very nice cheap mod for the fenders too. I've really got to work on more stuff with my favorite four letter word: FREE!

This series is the best RC upgrade format on the web. It's methodical and realistic for most enthusiasts to learn a common sense plan to improve the value, performance and fun factor. Thank you for this great program and all of your great preparation and hard work. Fantastic!

Dude I just raided wife's Tuppy cabinet.... She gonna be pissed.... Huge thank you for the "Flip your Lid Kit" I have decided to donate it to a local guy I have never meet. He lost all three of his trucks after a soggy comp this last weekend in a LiPo Fire/Meltdown. Our local FB group has joined forces and there is a bin at the LHS to help dude back on his feet. Nobody should be without at least one Rig. Thanks for all you do!!

i like the prerunner one. I helps fill out the front of the body and goes with the body lines of the honcho its self. good to see a video of the cheap fender well mod. I know its one that has been done for years but its good to see a updated version for the newer viewers and people to the hobby. both of you keep up the good work.

The prerunner bumper of course, nice job on the inner fenders . Just starting in the scale rc world, bad back so I have alot of extra time on my hands now. I purchased a redcat Everest 10 ,now I wish I had held off a while longer for the RTR Honcho, you guys have inspired me . Thanks from an old school rc addict.

Small one for approach angle
@YYCRCFabricationz7 жыл бұрын
The Prerunner bumper works better for me because from what we can see, approach angle is unchanged over the narrow one but, the Prerunner protects the lexan body significantly more. I personally want the body protected over leaving it a prime spot for rock damage or climbing hangups etc. The liners work wicked too btw & gotta like the cost (or rather lack of cost) to protect from water & schmutz getting into the engine bay. Another great installment in a wicked series, thanks for sharing it with us.
