I regret not explaining the volt meter better in the video. Thats what I get for being pressed for time while filming. When the battery is fully charged the meter will read 12.4v. Depending on where the lipo low voltage cutoff is set, when the meter reads between lower than 10.0v you're battery is nearly dead.

Harley Designs - I share quite a few of your & Matt's videos in my Mods, Tips & Tricks playlist on my channel because they're not only interesting & informative videos for my Clients & Subscribers who may not know but also I don't build using plastic or styrene. That being said tho, imho, Model Manufacturers should install voltmeters in every RC, it's just common sense that people want to know where their power is at! Really love that both ya'll are doing this series showing people how to spend less, there's far too many of ya'll that have the Sponsor's backing thinking we're all made of money & can easily purchase expensive mods, upgrades, parts, etc., while 2 of the best channels in the business are going a different road...Thanks!!! Great video again & the truck is looking sweet!

Not gonna lie, Josh... you released this video at the same time the Hoonigans released their Daily Transmission episode, so I was torn on which to watch first. Glad I picked this video. You once again have stepped it up with the functioning volt meter and 3d printed parts. Keep up the good work! Can’t wait to see what next week brings to the build off. 🤙🏽

The volt meter is actually handy. I’m always checking the volts on my batteries just to make sure it is in the safe zone, and it is a paint to open up the body every time to check it
@JK-qv8sv6 жыл бұрын
Those interior figures need some paint! I put a rc switch in my trail truck for remote lights, the switch has a red LED on it so I attached it to the cieling of the body and now the interior glows red when the exterior lights are on 👍

Josh, this series is so successful, because it appeals more to the "every Guy". Sure, several people (like me 😭), can't even do $50 a MONTH. However, between you and Matt.... you're also frequently throwing in free or nearly free Mods!! 👍👍 SURE, you're Harley - most of your Mods are more Performance Based. But you've got some super COOL tricks as well. This Series applies to the guy who can't afford the Hottest Rig, but still wants excellent Performance, and stand apart, cool looks as well. You guys both NAILED IT!! Carmine 🚂

I think you both are killing it in this series! Everybody's waiting to see who's got performance and who's got the most scale appearing truck. I know you said you were going more after performance, but with little things like the tail light bezels, voltmeter in the dash very cool and the flip a lid kit. Now just some paint or wrap to change the look of the truck. My money's on you for performance. And that's the name of the game and less it's a shelf Queen then looking the most real is best until you roll it down the side of a rock covered hill and lose all your scale touches or break them off. How many weeks are you guys going?
