Great unboxing! This video really helped I could hardly understand what a lot of the "pro" rc dudes were saying. Lol I just ordered a yeti can't wait to drive it!
@CCxRC9 жыл бұрын
+Colin Reue thanks for watching and for the comment Colin. I'm getting into more of the technical details, but still want to keep most of my videos geared to not confuse people looking to buy their first RC. So I will try to stick to the basics. Enjoy your Yeti. Super fun truck. Watch my video about the grub screw for the drive shaft. The one on the interior of the RTR came out on mine. Might be worth opening it up and putting some lock tight on the drive shaft grub screws before one comes out. If it does...you can steal one from the shock tower to replace it and keep running.

I'm really enjoying my Yeti and the XL, i'm enjoying the XL more than the 380 simply because I can jump the XL easier, as high as I want to, and I'm not breaking parts. The 380 is bending/breaking axles on me. Have a blast and come check out my channel for more action if you have the time :)

@CCxRC8 жыл бұрын
+Jack Fisher I am not sure. About 6 months into ownership, I traded it for a Gmade Sawback trail truck for my son to run. He really liked my Axial SCX10, so I wanted to get another trail truck so we could run them together. At the time, the Yeti was the best car in my fleet to get some money or a trade out of. There are times I miss having it, but now that I have the X-maxx...I've got a worthy replacement basher. :)

Should I buy this or a traxxas 4x4
@CCxRC7 жыл бұрын
What do you plan to do with it? If jumping a lot...get the Traxxas because it has independent suspension instead of the solid rear axle. i kept breaking the solid rear axle of the yeti and it was expensive and a pain to replace. Changing an a-arm is pretty cheap and easy.

Someone just told me the rear came locked. Are you positive front and rear are open? Thanks for the reply!
@CCxRC6 жыл бұрын
Sorry. I wasn't complete in my answer. The front diffs are open and the rear are locked. Not sure why I thought you were asking about only the front end...since that's what most people are asking about for locking.

Just a little suggestion, do more research if you're going to be providing people with information. Example here is when you're talking about the rear suspension.
@CCxRC9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion Jim Pruitt. This wasn't intended to be anything other than a first look at the truck. I was pretty open about it being my first ever unboxing from somebody who is new into RC and not knowing much about this style truck. There are a lot of people just like me who don't know everything about them, but like to run them. You won't see me doing many of these style videos. I'm more into running the cars.

Fantastic unboxing man and great running section too. Did you know you can get traxxas adapter plugs and then you can just change the plug to all different types of plugs I love them, they are awesome (-: Check them out: www.atomikrc.com/products/venom-universal-plug-system-fits-tamiya-traxxas-deans-ec3-plugs
@CCxRC9 жыл бұрын
I have a few universal adapters like these, but once on they are a pain to change. It wasn't a huge deal for me to solder a traxxas plug onto the vehicle and it makes it easier for me to just have one type of plugs for my charger.
@JaxTellerRC9 жыл бұрын
CCxRC Cool mate, I like em because once they are on your batteries the jobs done, then you can use your batteries in new cars or different cars or quads or whatever that have different plugs and just change the ends (-:
