Could you please elaborate on how you arrived at the 7.2% return on Accor hotels? It feels like about 10%. Total reward points for spending 7.5 lakhs are 20k, which may be exchanged for 40k accor points, for a total value of 72K.

Hi mam, I have a few questions 1. When we transfer the edge miles to airline miles or points what is the conversion value. If 1 airlines mile is equal to 50 paise the effective reward rate on the card falls down to 2%. Only in the case of Accor or ITC the reward rate may be better. But it really depends on which airline we transfer it to and the value of the airline miles 2. Also on a flight you may not get 3 or 4 reward flight seats through 😅 Isn’t it there better to use infinia which has more freedom to use the points across travel partner

Devaluation with exclusion category is ok provided you reduce the tier spend limit, for gold make it to 5 and for platinum make it to 10, how can they expect with so many exclusions to spend 15 lakhs for platinum tier

3 on 5 after devaluation is high according to me. it is more like 2 or 2.5. Axis needs to rethink its credit card game here - till last year - they overdid the rewards, but now they have over compensated and the rewards are too lame.

I received my card 3 days back and activated. I have been charged joining fee now...I bought it by knowing i will cross 7.5 lacs pa but with many exclusion i will be always in silver tier and renewal benefit is nil...will there be benefit to use it for one year and close before renewal?

If you thought that you will cross 7.5 lakhs then yes keep it and close it before renewal. Maybe Axis will reinstate some benefits by then. Atleast with the 5K fees you will get 10K partner miles so transfer it as soon as possible. And always transfer the miles as soon as you get it before they devalue the miles conversion itself 😂

You will likely get your card cancelled and banned by the bank if you're caught using your card for business expenditure and stock purchase. Recently Axis banned a lot of people who were not following rules. Go for business credit cards for electricity payment, and never use credit card for stock purchase.

I own Axis Atlas since feb, 2024 and already in gold tier and earned around 32K miles. I took this card only to access expensive ITC resorts in Goa and Shimla, which i will access this year obviously. The devaluation has made me think to renew this card next year.

It has happened because of people who misuse the cards by spending for others by using apps like yaper and charging business expenses on personal cards and so on. Gradually all super premium cards will become history.
